I recently stayed at Address Nozawa. Address far exceeding my expectations. Usually, accommodation in small, rural Japan is basic and leaves a lot to be desired. Yet, my room was fully furnished, modern, and came with wonderful little touches that puts the Address Nozawa far ahead of its competition for the price point. The hotel is conveniently located to everything you will need in Nozawa Onsen and the hotel's wonderful staff will leave a great impression. I can't wait to return. さらに表示

I love my room at Address Nozawa! It’s big and cosy. Location is good and I love how the hotel provides bread , jam , butter, ham , milk and apples for my 3 night stay! The jam is absolutely delicious! We engaged a ski instructor from Address Nozawa and he is very good! さらに表示

This is a special hotel with nice design. I like the room very much as it is very spacious and the set up is more like a serviced apartment. It provides you with cooking facilities in case you want to cook. Although it is situated near the Main Street but you might miss the entrance road easily. One disadvantage is that there are no reception staff after 6 pm so you need to arrive at the hotrl before 6 pm (otherwise you need to call the emergency number). Also, we encountered no supply of hot water (for all rooms despite that we let the tap turned on for over 20 min) so we had to take our bath in the onsen at the basement which is not very desirable. Nonetheless, this is a good experience. Also, the management stsff is very friendly and can communicate in flight English). さらに表示

We had the Grand Suite which was huge -- 86m2, with full kitchen and even a walk-in closet. Perfect for families and not too expensive (compared to other ryokan in the village). Loved having our own dining table and giant TV, and two separate showers. Great location. The onsen is in the basement and small, but it was often empty so not bad. Huge room in great location. Dining area, lounge and bedroom area with 4 beds semi cut off from living area. Which is ideal if yoy want to stay up after putting kids to sleep. Location spot on. Just off the main street. Less than 10 mins walk to either gondola. Clost to bus stop. Which is also very handy Staff - reception lady kaora? She was lovely and so helpful. I like the hotel style very much, i feel really while stay there! There provide simple breakfast, such as bread with butter or jam, yogurt, nespresso coffe, milk, juice and apple. The also provide egg but u have to cook it your self. The breakfast may not enough for snow-rider. さらに表示

Generally our 8 night stay was ok; our double Japanese room had some excellent features, spacious bathroom, well provisioned kitchenette and location quite close to the main street, BUT...... the location meant we were often woken by noisy drinkers leaving the local, small bars; the quality of some of the fixtures was disappointing....peeling papers on doors, windows without blinds or curtains and no English TV channels or Apple TV as featured on their website. Stained cupboard fronts and cupboard edges were unattractive. Three daily cleaning could have been much better. The idea is fine but the place needs much better care. さらに表示

First impressions last, unfortunately, and only two minutes after arriving in our room after a smooth check in, we received a call to come down to reception, as we hadn't paid in full. Given that we had used booking service Agoda, where you have to pay in full when you book, I was quite surprised at this. We went down to reception, where we were told we'd only paid for one person instead of two, because the room rates were per person and not per room; on Agoda, however, there was no option for me to select that there was a second person at any stage. The hotel insisted that I pay the outstanding amount, despite my explanations. We were happy with the room, which was quite spacious by Japanese standards, and it is located just off the main street, so everything is within a couple of minutes walking distance. The Yu-road, an escalator to the slopes, deposits you at the Hikage gondola within 15min from leaving the hotel. We liked the kitchen and dining area, and you are given all of your breakfast equipment on the first day, so you can cook your own when you'd like. The man at the front desk called a restaurant to book us a table when I asked, which was very helpful as it is hard to find somewhere to eat without one. We also really appreciated the hotel's onsen, which is located in the basement. It's a great way to introduce yourself to an onsen without feeling the pressure of being in a public one, and both my husband and I had one each to ourselves (as they are gendered) when we went. On the negative side, we weren't pleased with the fact that our room wasn't serviced once during our three night stay, despite us putting our 'please service room' doorknob hanger out. Also, the front desk is not attended from about 6 or 7pm at night, there is just a card placed out with a number for you to call someone in case of emergency. Considering the amount of money you are paying, I think that these are issues that must be rectified. さらに表示
