This is traditional Japanese ryokan, redecorated from a 2 floors old Japanese house. Its outdoor onsen is bright spot. Very good cost performance in this hot tourism city. Atami downtown is very small. So we did not feel the location of ryokan is not good. It is located in an undisturbed resident area on hillside. Walk from the house to downtown takes 10~15 minutes along the river running down from hill, where there are lots of restaurant and a big shopping mall AEON. We were thinking shared bath room would be nightmare. But actually the shared rest room and bath room, very clean and well organized. Outdoor onsen also has bath area. Because of only 3 rooms in this ryokan, we did feel crowd or convenient during our stay. We just met a group of Japanese guest when they checked in and did not see them again afterwards. さらに表示
