お部屋の設備はいたってシンプル。でもシンプルで十分だなと思いました！ どのお部屋に泊まれるのか楽しみでした！空間が異空間でしゃれている。日常から離れて凄く楽しかったです。朝と夜の外観の見え方も違っていてそこすらもアート。写真取りすぎました！ エントランスは無機質にみえるが話すとスタッフの方は皆んな親切であたたかく何か全てがちょうど良かった。 ビジネスホテルのように他の宿泊者のバタバタした音なども無く静かでした。 また是非是非他の部屋に宿泊したいと思います(^^) さらに表示

It’s a bit awkward when you check in and have to sign no touch let alone broken the art installation in the room. Have I known this before surely I will choose another hotel. I did specifically asked for a certain room but given another. To make it worsen, this room smells fresh paint which makes me coughing all nite long. Its a fine art museum but in my humble opinion not a good hotel. Or at least not ready to be a hotel. さらに表示

My wife and I stayed here for a week, while visiting Kyoto. The staff were very friendly and there was always a bit of a social hangout in the bar/lobby area, which seemed inclusive. This is an art hotel and every room is different, so I can obviously only comment on our room, which was decorated by a Japanese kintsugi ceramicist. It had matte black walls and an amazing coffee table artwork in the centre of the room. It was literally like staying in an art gallery. Everything in the room was very modern and clean, the bed was quite soft by Japanese standards. Our room was kept exceptionally clean during our stay, and the tea/coffee was replenished every day by the housekeeping staff. The room had a television that was part of the art installation, but unfortunately you couldn’t use it to watch TV/movies if you just wanted to relax in your room. For sitting, there was only some cushions on the floor, which again wasn’t super comfortable for hanging out. Something to consider if you are planning on staying more than a couple of nights. Overall, this was a really unique experience in an amazing city and I would highly recommend you stay here, even if only for a night. さらに表示

My family of 5 stayed in the bento box room. The beds folded out from the “box” in the center of the room. And there is this wild Burt Reynolds clock that displays green lights in the wall at certain times. We were told this is one of the permanent room installations — others change every six months or so. While it was slightly tight quarters for our group, we still loved it. This may sound odd but the shower in this place was amazing. Oh, and the location is terrific. It’s an easy bus ride from the Kyoto train station and it’s a short walk to awesome shopping, food and Pontocho Alley. さらに表示

Amazing experience I would recommend for one night only! When you enter the rooms you will think WOW however mirrors are missing and beds are quite uncomfortable. However staff is very helpful and speak good English さらに表示

Pros Good location close with central location & close to Gion. 10 minute taxi ride from Kyoto Station. Comfortable bed, quiet & the bathroom was larger than most Japanese hotels. Cons For the price there were really no amenities available when compared to other Japanese hotels. The surprise to us was our black room. Not sure if we ever got used to it. The ceramic art was lovely but a black room shows dirt and dust and is functionally difficult... even with both window shades drawn we had to use the flashlight in the morning to find clothes in our luggage. The was just 1 luggage stand and the xtra small closet was black w/o a working light. The floor space was taken up by the art table. We didn’t want to deal with the hassle of changing rooms so made due. A final note, the staff who all were artists were very nice but in our one experience they lacked bartending/ serving skills. The bar was rarely in use when we entered. Would have been nice to have morning coffee & toast. さらに表示

Our first room was confronting. It had a water feature and strobe light which was confronting to the senses. But staff were very empathetic and promptly moved us to a different room. The next room was the love room which had lots of funky colour and artwork in the room. Definitely recommend this room. For the price, I would recommend it for a night just to enjoy the novelty さらに表示
