Staff were excellent, with incredibly good English. At one point my partner lost her credit cards down the side of the beds which do not move, so the staff came in with tools and pulled everything apart to get them out, and would not take extra payment for their effort despite our insistence. さらに表示

Good location, within 10-15 min walk from the Kyoto station, and direct bus lines to major attractions near the hotel. The staff spoke very good English (the best so far we've met in Japan). He took the time to explain to us what attractions and good food are available near the hotel. And they gave us a pair of chopsticks when we checked out, very nice little gesture! The room itself is small, only enough space for 2 small suitcases, but there is some storage space below the bed which we didn't use. The shower is in the room instead of in the toilet, so it's a bit awkward when sharing the room with friends. さらに表示

The hotel was really 10 mins walks away from Kyoto JR Station. And Plenty of Bus nearby maybe 2 mins walking distant. From the Bus station you can pratically go anyway you want. The hotel staff was so polite and very helpful they provide us the nearest bus stop, restaurant and plenty we need. I have no complain and it is a very nice experience. さらに表示

We took a Japanese style room, so too pity can't try the capsule room. The staffs can communicate in english very well, and room supplied with a manual talk about travel in kyoto, very useful for traveler. They also a small living room just beside the counter, you can have a cup of coffee over there. The hotel can easily access by bus from kyoto station but if walk from Kyoto station, you need to take about 10 minutes.Overall, is a good hotel for backpacker. さらに表示

Actually if you're first time to this hotel, its quite far to walk but with help of the map in the website, it's really help. It's easier to take a bus no 206 and stop at Higashiyama-Dori Street. Even the room a bit small but it still comfortable and clean. Easy procedure to borrow iron, hanger, and other facilities. There're washing machine and dryer at second floor. We stayed in the Capsule Royokan for two nights while in Kyoto and the service and amenities were so nice that we booked it again for another night on our way back through after traveling south. The rooms were clean and totally Japanese! Conveniently has shower and toilet in each room. What really stands out about this place is the staff though. The location is great, just 8 minutes walking from Kyoto railway station. The staff were nice. They even gave me a small souvenir when I checked out. (I gave them something back of course.) The room was not super clean, but it was already good enough for me. After all, it was totally worth the money i paid. Highly recommended! さらに表示

Great spot, really close to the train station. The hosts all speak perfect English and offered great recommendations on food and the best ways to get to the touristy locations. The rooms are tiny (it's a capsule hotel, after all) but have everything you need, including a space age shower. Highly recommended! さらに表示

The Capsule Ryokan is perfectly located near Kyoto station. The staff is friendly, helpful, proactive and keen to provide information and hints for discovering and enjoying the city . We stayed for 2 nights in the capsule ryokan. It was a nice experience and the room was comfortable. Would recommend if travelling alone or in 2s. Room is cozy but has all the facilities that you need. It is VERY clean. :D Food, busses and other transportation are within walking distance. さらに表示

It was awesome here, very clean, tight space but more valuable than the price definitely a bargain. Their extra services are offered without asking all the time so you feel super comfortable and like you are not bothering, they gice awesome advice for everything saved me at least a day of wasted time and also save you money by giving you tips on how to get best deals on train. The room is small but very tidy & clean. There are utilising wisely about their space. You can store your luggage below the bed. The shower room is very amazing & the toilet is automatic. Quite a fantastic experience. It's walking distance from Kyoto Station and there's a lot of restaurants nearby, some of them operate until mid-night. It's quite convenient for us to look for food whenever we are hungry. The reception guy is very helpful, friendly and english-speaking. They are very patience in providing information whenever you need their helps. When you check-in, they will show you around the hotel room and passed you a reference book for tourist attraction places. It's very useful. When you are checking out, they will give you a complimentary gift as well as souveniers. Quite an amazing experience. さらに表示

The location was pretty decent, around 10mins walk from the Kyoto Station. The staff were really very helpful and friendly. They provided a locality map with the nearby amenities, such as affordable Okonomiyaki, Yakitori, Supermarket. The busstops that goes to the major attractions, basically it is near 2 busstops, where you can take the bus to Gion/Higashiyama Area or Kinkaku-ji/Ryoan-Ji. Located within easy walking distance of Kyoto Station, this hotel is a mixture of ryokan and hostel. It has modern and clean line decor, with additional japanese touches such as tatami flooring, luggage storage under the sleeping area and a very clever usage of space. The rooms are very streamlined, you have everything you need, but there is no extra space. There is however a wonderful rain shower style shower. You won't want to spend a lot of time in your room sitting around! There is a comfortable lounge area downstairs, and scheduled culture activities as well. The staff are friendly and helpful, and speak wonderful English if you are not a confident Japanese speaker. They also povide useful advice and suggested itineraries for travellers. I highly recommend this as a wonderful base option for exploring Kyoto. さらに表示
