of all japanese people i met this is the worst Japanese couple & son i ever met very rude service & lots of condition that i ever stay in a japanese ryokan/homestay they don,t even greet us with a simple good morning even though we greeted them in the morning when we ask for hot water they don't seem to bother us & just pretend that they don,t understand the only plus point is it is walking distance to lake toya all other things are very disapointing about this Ryokan さらに表示

In a big room for a family, there was no private toilet. I needed to have a shower in a bathroom where water in the bath was not clear (however, nothing affected on my skin). Futon and yukata were clean. No drinking water provided in my room. It was a very old ryokan, I should walk stealthily to avoid making noise and some parts of the walls were broken. I could see the beautiful scenery of the Toya lake from my room window and go by 5 to 10-min walk. There was a car park area beside the ryokan. さらに表示

1) Booked this Japanese style hotel to be different from other hotels. The room is big which is good for us as we are travelling 3 pax. 2) Disappointed as the upkeep of the place is bad. a) Door to room could hardly close without banging it. b) Room number sign on the door dropped when we checked in and left on the floor only. c) Some paneling in the room damaged obviously for some time. Not fixed or repaired. d) Right in front of our room, looks like an abandoned area, demolished and unkempt. No effort to cover up or tidy it. 3) The floor at the hot bath looks ponding/dirty at certain areas . 4) The only common western W.C. toilet on our floor is so small that when the user sits on the w.c., the knees are touching the front wall. Hardly enough room. 5) The only and common bath and shower room closes at 8.00am! Yes 8.00.am. You are on holiday and you need to get up that early to shower. Pros: Location was good. Cons: Pretty old 2 story inn run by the old couple. The old man was not helpful to accommodate late check-in as well as not very respectful with his communication. He created a lot of fuss with sandals not being in right place. We just spent literally a night (12 hours). さらに表示

They provide free hot spring. Besides, the bathroom is shared and just beside the hot spring pool. Thats mean you need to be naked to bath with others (if there have another persons bath/enjoy the hot spring with you that time) They provide free parking for your car. さらに表示

Ryokan was run down w toilet wall n ceiling cracking. Ryokan closed from 0930 to 1300 hrs n access deny during this period as access door is locked. Indemnity oso closed from 0700 さらに表示

It is a bit far from the bus terminal but acceptable distance. The room is super big, include a living room which can accommodate another 4 person at least. Our room is facing the lake, at night when the fireworks show started, we can view it very clearly from inside the room. The onsen is free. But they do not have a separate bath room. For those who want to shower in the morning should take it before 7am because u only can shower in the hot spring room which is opens at 5-7am & 3-11pm. Toilet is scary with limited source of light. Proprietors of this ryokan are rude as they scold when we 1st step in to the place without taking off our shoes. Other than these, the room is comfortable to stay and the hot spring is nice to use. For those who plan to cheat on the number of guests gonna to stay there please be noted that you can't escape from their eyes. さらに表示

Staying for our 1st night at hokkaido lake toya. The hotel is near the lake toya walking way. But was slightly far from d bus terminal, about 10 - 15mins walk. We decided to take taxi from d bus terminal which cost us around 547yen which is a good decision as d hotel requires walking up quite a steep slope. However we decided to walk to d bus station when we leave which is less strenuous due to d downhill slope. The hotel also walking distance to convenience store. さらに表示
