I booked the room should be 4 beds room, since i got 2 adults and 2 kids, but they provide me a 3 beds room instead, although my kids still feel good for the room. And there are some of problems that i cant open the door for 1-2 hours and i cant find any help, i even need to find the coffee shop downstairs to help. Since there is no telephone and reception. Finally i can contact the owner through email and the owner come to help. The Lock of the room should be blocked if the door is not in the right side, even i already unlocked it. The rice prepared by owners is very good! my kids love it! But i find that there is a light (stair entrance location) outside open 24 hrs and the curtain cant block the light and keep the room bright whole night that cant have a good sleep. The Establishment was really great, they provide free water bottles when we arrive and a local dish for us to cook ourselves to try. Clean room, everything else is working and enough space to store our big luggages under the bed. Fast response with email. And we could drop our luggage before check in time. Location only 3 minutes away from Takayama Station, very close to the old village. The coffee shop downstairs is great and more coffee shop nearby. I would definitely recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Takayama. さらに表示

it feels like a dorm but it is not? main door access to another 3 seperate rooms/accomodation. we got the 2nd room which is not as per the advertised picture when i did the booking (which shows 4 beds instead, assuming for 4 people booking). similar concept with the picture, we got 2 beds at the bottom + 1 top bed u have to climb up to. the top bunk is very confortable but limited height space. and since it is at the top, the aircond can't reach it much so you are warmer than the others at the bottom. toilet is great... kitchen is good... the beds are extremely comfy! no washing machine... they even provided some raw ingredients to make a meal in the kitchen. think of it like a goodie bag gift. it is self-check in & self-check out .... no keys... just doors with passcode... *unsure how often (if any) the password is changed? FYI, there is really cheap parking nearby opposite side of the train station. Palaco park... from 6pm-10am, 200 yen ONLY! overall very enjoyable. さらに表示
