Public Bath inside the hotel was small and old. Bathing tax is collected even if you did not use the facilities. There is a shuttle bus to their sister hotel to use the onsen facility there. Mountain View room was old and dated with smell of stale cigarettes mixed with the smell of the tatami mat. さらに表示

We stayed in Forest of Akan Tsuruga Resort Hanayuuka for two nights (Western room type), the room was spacious (by Japanese standards) with the nice view of the lake. The breakfast (included into the room rate) was delicious. We did not have dinners in the hotel as we always prefer to have dinners in small local restaurants. The parking for cars is free of charge. We also took the boat trip on the lake at 6am (beautiful lake and the jetty/ticket's office is right near the hotel's entrance), you come back at 7am, have your breakfast and still have the whole day ahead! Room is just ok, toilet smell though, Onsen is Small but u can go to their Sister hotel Onsen ( last bus at 930pm, did not make it). I am amazed by their half board dinner, not very big spread but the food is really good! さらに表示

Hotel and the hot bath are rather basic and old. We saw bugs in the room, and had a few bed bug bites. Dinner and breakfast are not bad. Overall it is fine but disappointing on value for money given the price... さらに表示

This was a very pleasant surprise. Rooms overlook the lake. The room is very spacious which gives my 1 year old baby lots of space to walk about. A pity that we didn't have time to check out the sister onset. but the indoor onsen was great too! The basins are outside in the room which was a little peculiar..but still great stay overall. さらに表示

i have high expectations of this hotel due to all the excellent reviews. however, when we stayed, it was ok only. we booked japanese styled rooms for 3 person & 4 persons - the rooms are comfortable but looks old. there was hardly enough rooms to open our luggages after preparing the tatami beds. the buffet breakfast & dinner selection was not that great. the best part about staying at the hotel was the fact that we can use the onsen facility at another hotel which was simply amazing! さらに表示

Value for money. The room is quite comfortable, no place to put luggage. Buffet is ok. However, we stay here for 2 nights, the buffet were the same, quite disappointed. In house onsen is ok. We can use their sister hotel's onsen for free. However, since this group have 3 hotels, all can use the higher price hotel's onsen, it is very crowded, and unhygienic. When i dip into the onsen, i can see layer of oil on surface and hair floating. This is the first time I see this in Japan onsen. But hotel location is very convenient, right at the ferry to take boat tour for mimoshi. さらに表示

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel with the triple sharing Japanese style. The sumptuous wide spread of delicious and quality food served for dinner and breakfast was excellent. Instead of using the hotspring bath in this hotel, we were allowed to go over to the gorgeous related hotel nearby for our hotspring bath by their shuttle van. さらに表示

My mom and I were happy coz we got room with Lake view. Also having variety of food. Only if you would like to use onsen, you have to go to another hotel by their shuttle which is not convenient to travel with cloth and stuffs. Their hotel partner is luxury and great place to stay indeed. さらに表示

The hotel was well situated along the main shopping street in town and next to Akan lake where you can take wonderful walks with great scenery. It also has a good hot spring bath and also the souvenir shop on the first floor sells nice souvenirs and food stuff. Hotel staff are all very friendly and helpful, we drove and there is free parking as well as valet service, however English proficiency is not that good (although they do have a staff who can speak mandarin too). Breakfast was ok, dinner was relatively more sumptuous - all buffett style. Rooms were decent sized by Japanese standards and we had a great view of the lake. Only moot point is no wifi connection in the room and slow connection in the lobby/restaurant common area. さらに表示
