最寄駅が地下鉄ではなく、ＪＲなので京都駅からの乗り換えだと駅構内を歩く距離が長いです。 しかし、宿から五条駅（地下鉄）まで歩けます、旅慣れている人・歩くのが平気な人は大丈夫だと思います。 お部屋も綺麗で、タオルもついていました。 荷物を預かって頂こうと訪ねた時も、お部屋がすでに空いていたようで早くチェックインさせて貰えたので行動する前に少し休めてよかったです。 スタッフの方達も感じがよくてまた泊まりたいと思いました。 お部屋番号が夜になると見え難いのでそこは改善して頂けると迷わないかな…と思います。 さらに表示

A steal - you get a private room for a great price (I speak as a solo traveler fed up of loud hostels). Very comfortable and great breakfast. It is a little out of the way in Kyoto but not too far and the area is nice and quiet. I definitely recommend it! さらに表示

This is my first time staying at a guest house with my children. We stayed for 3 nights. This place is super clean. The room was big enough for 4 adults. The common living room is cosy and simple breakfast and tea is provided. Will stay at Fujitaya again if I come back to Kyoto. さらに表示

Everyone is super friendly at this private rooms only hostel . The young couple from Osaka run this homy hostel with big heart anf that reflects in the entire space here . You would like it here . Highly recommended and would stay in their new hostel next time . さらに表示

The owner of the place, Masa, together with the staff working at the guesthouse are very warm and friendly. They treat you like family and would go all out to make you feel comfortable. The staff also provide good tips on local attractions and are very helpful in providing directions. Overall, I highly recommend this guesthouse to anyone who is looking for a local experience in Kyoto. One small disadvantage I would like to mention is that the guesthouse is 1 train stop away from central Kyoto train station. However, if you have a JR Rail pass, the train ride will be free as it is a JR line from Kyoto. さらに表示

Be prepared to accept this as a “guest” house. Don’ ask for privacy or safety. It is inside a residential area. You will feel so embarrassed if your luggage bag roller is slightly louder. Opt for this if you really run tight on your budgets! さらに表示

Our stay at Fujitaya was so enjoyable. Great quiet location, really easy to get the bus into town or the train! Comfortable spacious rooms, and spotless shared shower and bathroom facilities. The best part was the staff - so warm, welcoming and helpful, and they speak English well! Taking a bike out for the day is great fun! Simple but yummy breakfast is supplied. I love Fujitaya! It's like a home while you are actually away from home. Rooms are cozy, we got a good sleep there. Eriko, one of the staff is so friendly and very informative. Location is not far from main street, where you can get city bus that connects to major tourists' destinations. It would be nice if they can provide slippers, because during our visit it was winter time & very cold, it's too cold to walk to the toilet or shower room without slippers. All new and cleaned . They are very nice and we had a very warm welcome. They help us with a problem with our wifi movil. It's 30 minuts walking distance the station. We were in Fujitaya 2, with is brand new but farer than Fujitaya 1, from the Station. A lot of staff to have breakfast. Nice leavingroom さらに表示

Staff were very helpful, speak in good English. One staff spoke Mandarin. Provided information about places for seeing maple leaves. Kitchen had all kinds of cooking utensils, Beautiful and classic cups, dishes and bowls were provided. Hot rice, bread and drinks were provided for breakfast. さらに表示

The guesthouse is hidden in the alley and there was no sign/post leading to the gueshouse. I spent one hour in the rain trying to find the guest house and my phone wasn't working because of the poor internet connection. The pedestrian/visitor gave me the wrong direction..the locals do not know about the guest house either. The staff are very friendly and helpful though. I like the homey ambience and cleanliness. Getting around is not easy in that location. The bus stop is not far but you may have to spend time waiting for the bus and it's not fun dragging the heavy luggage to the bus stop.. さらに表示

The room is small but value for money since I really wanted to stay in a tatami room. The washroom is shared but very very clean! The staff is very helpful and kind. They gave us directions on how to go from one place to another and tips on how to maximize our time. It is quite a long walk from the train station but very bearable. :) さらに表示

Me and my bud were staying at Fujitaya for 3 nights, and honesty throughout our trip Fujitaya was easily the most enjoyble stay we had among other hostels in Japan. The hostel might be smaller than others but I assure you can get really friendly and sincere staffs that were willing to extend their help whenever you need, moreover despite the size the hostel, everything are so tidy, clean and well organized to the point of astonishing! the bathroom, shower room and the bedrooms were all very hygienic, bedroom was particularly comfortable even thought I have never slept on a futon before. In short, if you want some quality rest and authentic Kyoto experience, choose no further. さらに表示
