The room is decent. Good space but you set up your own tatami. Not too difficult cause the staff will show you pictures on how to do it. But our bathroom reeks of cigarette smell which was bad for us. We told the staff and they tried to spray air freshener but not much use. But we appreciate their gesture. They were apologetic too. The dinner provided was decent. Good variety of food and was individualised. So dont expect a buffet like some other more expensive hotels in Tokayo. There was no wifi in this hotel. But you can walk over to their sister hotel opposite to access wifi. Not a big trouble. Just a little inconvenient. But the good thing is you can catch the fireworks at the sister hotel. さらに表示

It was a good standard price for staying in this hotel with a good dinner included. However, the Tatami blankets and pillows were dirty with stain all over it and the room was dusty. Which is the reason why the cleanliness only deserves a two star rating. さらに表示

Stay includes breakfast and dinner which is of high standard. Room is huge with futons, sitting area and TV. Able to use the rooftop onsen for free at sister hotel just in front of this hotel. A very short walking distance to the lake to see the 20 min fireworks (start at 8.45 pm) Able to book bus to Sapporo at the reception at a very affordable price. Staff is able to speak Chinese and answer any questions we have. A very pleasant and relaxing stay at Lake Toya. さらに表示

The entire building is very old and run down. I didnt even dare to shower with the door closed as the room looked like something out of a jap horror movie. i half expected ju-on to crawl out from somewhere. さらに表示

This hotel is old but it has kind staff and good looking view through the window. The most nice thing was the open area bath with excellent view of Toya Lake even though you have to walk across the building, it's worth to visit. The Restaurant was OK. さらに表示

There is a bus stop right outside the hotel (Motomachi) from JR Toya station. The onsen at the hotel itself is quite small but you can use the one in the hotel opposite, which is amazing, and has open air baths with views over lake Toya and Mount Votei. GET ONSEN AS THE FACILITY OF THE HOTEL. GOT FREE DINNER AND BREAKFAST. VALUE FOR MONEY. LOCATION 7MINS WALK TO TOYAKO ONSEN.. FROM JR STATION TAKE DONAN BUS TO TOYAKO ANF THEN 7MINS TO HOTEL. there is a hidden onsen tax of 150yen per person which is not stated on the Agoda website. We stayed in the Japanese style room, the bathroom wasn't that clean but the room was good enough for our 1 night stay. The hotel is a bit old, but in a good location close to the promenade さらに表示

This is my second time staying here. The hotel is just by the lake and within walking distance to the convenience store and bus stop to the ropeway. Rooms are simple and affordable compared to the other hotels in the area. We ordered breakfast and dinner which was wholesome and delicious. This Ryokan is located at the Lakeside of Toya, the onsen is open air, our package came with buffet dinner and breakfast. Value for money and the buffet is good. (Shrimp, crab, scallops, wagyu , fresh sashimi etc..) If you travel during summer autumn, there is firework show every night at 9pm. さらに表示
