楽しみにしていた龍の瞳が柔らかすぎて残念。外国の中居さんの献立の知識がなく？？？フレンドリーな感じはよいがエレベーターに先に入る時とか客の前を横切るなどは驚きました。海外資本だからか特典がなく残念でした。しかし1/1に宿泊ができ良かったです。 さらに表示

初めての旅館でしたがとっても楽しめました。 タクシーの無料送迎が往復ついており、チェックアウト後も荷物を預けて観光して旅館に帰ってタクシーで駅まで行きました。 お料理は個室でいただきました。温泉か料理かどっちがメインかわからなくなるくらい豪華でとっても美味しかったです！ 係の方もとても親切にしてくださりました。 お部屋の露天風呂はもちろんですが、貸切露天風呂もおすすめです。 一回だけ行った大浴場は朝9時頃に行ったら誰もいないために貸切状態でした。 コンビニも近くにあるので便利でした。 友達のカップルも行ったことがあるみたいでした。別の知り合いも2組これから行くみたいです。学生にも人気があると思います。 土日は値段が上がりますが、冬は花火があるので土曜日の夜に泊まるのはおすすめです。 さらに表示

We got the private onsen room for one night. The staff emailed me 1 week earlier to confirm our stay and we replied to upgrade our dinner course to the hida beef course. They also informed us that they will be paying for the taxi to and from gero station. Upon check in, they told me to choose a kimono and gave instructions on how to wear them. It was hard but I did it myself! They have 3-5pm kimono service for women only. We moved to a different building to our room, and we were excited to quickly dip into our private onsen. It looked like a black circular tub enough to fit 2 people, both the shower and tub are situated outside backyard of the japanese style room. Our ryokan dinner was held in a private dinning space in the main building. We got to experience an autumn menu (top up 3900 for extra 3 hida beef dishes) and enjoyed the culture and taste. The best was beef shabu and beef yakiniku. The next day, we proceed to soak early in morning and proceed to our breakfast. Overall, it was an amazing experience if you like to try their japanese style cuisine and soak in onsen. The only thing that disappointed me was that the onsen water is not traditional hot spring water. It’s just regular hot water. If you ask my opinion whether you should top up 3900 for the hida beef set, I would say “no”. Because for the price, I can get more quantity compared to restaurants outside. Quality is there, but it is very pricey! The regular dinner set already has 2 hida beef dishes. But if you love beef more than Jesus, pls do try and savor the taste. さらに表示

The hotel is not exactly near JR station, but the hotel offers free taxi service. You just have to hop on any taxi and ask to go to Sasara. The hotel will take care of the cost. Hotel is so heartwarming by putting all the guests’ names on the board and remembers everyone of them. Breakfast and dinner were ate inside the room. Room service was great. The room is super spacious with a very nice private open air bath. The only downside is the showering area is also at outdoor, which can be pretty freezing during winter. さらに表示

although the staff couldnt speak english but both ourselves and staff tried to communicate with each other with limited japanese and body languages, very spacious room and food is great, onsen is very good also too. Gifu is a very nice place!!! さらに表示

We stayed at the Moriyama Building for 2 days and were impressed by their service and enthusiasm of their staff. We had a late arrival and they tried everything to accommodate things to our needs including a big feast at late hours. Food was great and our kids loved the meal specially catered for them. Staff of this hotel is able to communicate in English quiet fluently (though not every staff). Their prompt reply to our emails are greatly appreciated. Many thanks to Higashiyama san for responding to our enquiries patiently. Although the hotel is a bit far away from the Gero JR station, it offers free taxi rides from / to the JR station. It is quite near to the Gero Onsen Gassho-mura. Upgrade of dinner set to Hida beef set is strongly recommended. It was a pity that we had to dine in our own room as it caused the smell of beef hot pot to remain in the room tho it may be a plus to travelers who do not want to move around for meals. Private open-air bathtub can only be used by one person at a time. The 2 public onsens are fine. Remember not to return the towels in the changing room of public onsen but bring it back with you, or you need to pay 300 yens for an additional clean towel. be aware, you can get stung by mosquitoes during outdoor bathing/hottub soaking. The room itself was clean and sanitary but i think we had bedbugs in our blanket coz it was all itchy. the people were so friendly and girls had free yukata when we went さらに表示

The hotel paid the taxi fee between JR station and the hotel. The staffs spoke good English and taught us how to wear Yukata patiently. We had dinner and breakfast in the room. The staff explained the ingredient in details that let us know more about the Japanese culture. The food was delicious. The outdoor onsen was excellent though the bathing area was also at outdoor. The hotel was a wonderful surprise. We made the reservation after reading reviews which were limited. The inn was lovely, our japanese style room spacious, and the baths included both indoor and outdoor components for both men and women. The staff was gracious. Parking in the garage was free and available. We drove from gujo which was no problem. The mountain scenery was spectacular and we stopped along the way to enjoy a couple of old temples. さらに表示
