全国高校駅伝応援の前泊で泊まりました。ネットの写真よりも何十倍も何百倍もとてもいいお部屋でた。キッチンもついているし、トイレと浴室が別々で（ただし脱衣場にトイレがあるのでトイレを利用してると風呂場に入れませんが）お風呂も広くて大変満足です。部屋も広いので、どこのチェーンホテルやビジネスよりもとてもよかったです。フロントの女性の方もとても親切でお部屋まで案内していただけました。連休の初日でこのお値段でいいのでしょうか？？？と思いますが、来年もまた利用したいので是非ともこのままでお願いできればなぁと思います。駐車場も離れてますが、お寺の敷地に止めさせてもらえたのでよかったです。（１日2000円）この宿泊施設をすすめたいですか？で「はい」にしましたが、他の人には教えたくないなぁ！！！それくらいいいお宿でした。 さらに表示

場所は最寄りの駅から歩いて1分なのでとてもわかりやすいです。栄えているところからも少し外れていたので静かで良かったです。部屋は掃除が行き届いていてどこも綺麗にされてました。セキュリティもしっかりしていて長期滞在にも向いているホテルだと思います。 さらに表示

京都駅から地下鉄で三条に行き徒歩3分ほどで近く、部屋も広くて設備も電子レンジ、トースター、器、包丁等など揃っていてとても便利でした。お風呂も広くて、コーヒーも無料で本当に今までで一番のホテルでした。スタッフも丁寧に対応頂き部屋にパウチしてあった京野菜のレシピもコピーが欲しいと言ったら直ぐに用意いただけました。思わず次回の京都旅行もこのホテルを予約しました。本当に有難う御座いました。 さらに表示

We had a wonderful time staying at Kyoto Gion Hanna Stay during Hanami season April of 2019. The place is small and unassuming, just an easy 300m from the Shijo subway station. The staff was welcoming, friendly and extremely helpful-- offering personalized help and tips regarding local attractions and foods. The energy and infectious enthusiasm was palpable and little touches, like hand-written welcome notes, excellent toiletries and extras-- like offering calligraphy classes, etc. made the location even better The room we stayed in was a triple-- laid out like a small Japanese apartment with a kitchenette, full bathroom, combination washer and dryer all laid out with typical Japanese efficiency. Don't expect fancy things like room service, but if you're seeking a clean, comfy and cozy place to lay your head after a long day of absorbing the wonder of Kyoto's Gion and its many shrines or after a great meal at on of the many restaurants of nearby Pontocho alley-- you've found it! さらに表示

The staff at Gion Hanna Stay is just marvelous. Our flight was very delayed and we arrived at the hotel past 2am. Even though their check-in counter personnel is out by 9pm, a member of the staff stayed up to wait for us. They assisted us and made every effort to make our stay comfortable. The place itself is spacious with a kitchen, laundry washer and dryer. Close to public transportation, convenience stores and within walking distance to Kyoto attractions. Very great location, 2 mins walk to the 三条 station entrance, which can both travel railway and subway. Convenience store nearby. 10 mins walk to beautiful 白川. Recommend Hanna Stay to clearly state the travel method to travelers as they usually have bulky suitcases with them. Like which entrance with lift. さらに表示

Gion Hanna Stay Hotel is great. One of the best hotels we stayed at during our two week visit in Japan. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. Tomiko spoke English well which was a bonus. My only gripe is with the booking through Agoda. Never again!! Agoda took $43/night extra from me with the rationale that it was due to rate exchange. Be careful with the “pay later” scam. さらに表示

Couldn't have asked for a better stay! The rooms were spotlessly clean -- so clean that you'd think you are one of the first guests in there. The rooms were also laid out well and the space is well utilized to give you a full kitchen and washer-dryer. The instructions are really well provided in english for all the appliances and "gadgets". The bathroom itself is a hi-tech with built-in heating and drying for the whole bathroom. This doubles up as a good way to dry clothes too. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We got a lot of local tips, beautiful hand-drawn maps of the local area and other areas, and help with taxi and restaurant reservations. The location is outstanding -- very close to a subway/train station which has two lines. It is also a few minutes from the Gion district and also the Heian shrine. A 10 minute walk (we did it with small kids) takes you to the Nishiki market. Highly recommend this stay, especially if you need a kitchenette! さらに表示

While the hotel itself is very compact (as expected of housing in Japan), the rooms are quite spacious and all appliances are very up to date. Plenty of room for suitcases and the washroom (with adjoining more traditional style bathing room) was almost as big as my hotel room in Tokyo. The staff is very friendly; they were very eager to offer recommendations and help us out with our mediocre Japanese. The hotel itself is a little farther from the station than other hotels, but it was a $13 taxi ride so no big deal. They're also well placed for nighttime excursions to restaurants and bars. My daughter and I enjoyed our stay with Gion Hanna Stay very much. The room is fully equipped with all we need including facial care items. The staff were very good, they helped to teach us how to move around Kyoto and is always ready to help. All the staff speaks good English, great for us as we do not speak Japanese. Location of the hotel was great, with reach of the subway, bus stops, restaurants as well as convenience stores. Our room is very clean and we really felt at home! Thank you, Gion Hanna Stay! さらに表示

I travelled with a girl friend. We spent 2 nights here. First of all, the staffs were super nice, wait us arrive till 11pm, help us reserve the restaurant and show us what to do around. The hotel self is located only 5mins walking distance to Gion Street. If you stay here, you can also walk to some sights like Kiyomizu Temple, Yasaka Shrine etc,. For this hotel self, room is so clean, almost everything you need is prepared, like shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, facial cleaner, toothbrush and toothpaste. Room is not that small, at least for 2 people stay is big enough. I think I will stay here again next time when I go to Kyoto. さらに表示

When we first arrived, there was a 5-10 mins briefing session for the room which we find somehow a little overwhelming (Considered the fact that we just wanna rest after a long journey), but turned out that's because the room was like an apartment and has every appliances we could ever thought of! From washing machine to dryer and even a rice cooker! Very thoughtful of the hotel and its definitely better than others for a longer period stay and we appreciate that greatly (Hungry for supper? No problem you could just microwave anytime). Not to mention its really clean and power sockets is just beside the bed headboard. Would definitely stay again if we come back to Kyoto. It was a great pleasure to stay at this hotel. Its location is really convenient, near by the train, and walking distance to attraction sites in Gion. The staff is very friendly and offered valuable information. Tha facility itself is very thoughtful, washing machine and kitchenette are a plus. We loved it - the location was great to start exploring the city (metro, city center, 7/11 close by). The room had a coffee machine (with free good coffee) a washing machine, microwave, oven, high speed internet - we didnt expect all that. The best part is the really friendly and helpfull staff - any questions or wishes were fulfilled. We asked for more coffee, water and even sugar several times and they never complained or limited the amount. They even had maps to start exploring the surroundings exclusively made by the hotel staff. All in all an amazing place to stay - would totally recommend it to everyone that wants to stay in Kyoto. さらに表示

Rooms were very clean & modern. Nice not to be in a huge hotel. Rooms large by Japanese standards. It is not a problem to have to find breakfast every morning. Many good spots within a 2 block radius. Staff was SO friendly & helpful. They walked 3 blocks to find the right bus stop for our next day’s outing (when we couldn’t find it). They sat with us during the Ancestors Parade and explained many historical features. They recommended great restaurants all 1/2 to 3 blocks away. We can’t compliment the staff enough!!! The location is super for walking to North & South Higashiyama sites as well as bus, subway & Keihan Railroad line. Amazing find! さらに表示

The staff are super friendly and helpful. Thank you Kenji for looking after our family. We’re sorry we didn’t get to see you before we left. We loved the organic rice you sourced for us. It was lovely to be able to make some home cooked meals. The location is quiet and close to Sanjo Keihan station. Bus stop to places like Arashiyama Bamboo forest was nearby. The room we had was great with the upstairs area. Word of advice, have older kids sleep up top. It was nice to have the kitchen and a laundry. Only regret was we missed out on trying the ramen place next door. There’s also an accommodation tax per person per night now in Kyoto to plan ahead with.
