非常に満足
二泊しましたが、とても気持ちよく過ごせました。
足が悪く、畳に座ることが大変なのですが、高座を用意してくださったおかげで、楽に過ごせました。
部屋付きのお風呂とトイレもそれぞれ独立していて、特にお風呂はありがちなユニットバスではなく、洗い場とバスタブがあるもので、大浴場に行かなくてもゆっくりできました。
旅館自体は、スタッフさんも設備も文句なしだと思うのですが、最寄駅からの距離が少し遠いかもしれません。
八坂神社の南門とねねの道のすぐそばなので、観光の立地は抜群ですし、京都はタクシーの初乗り運賃がお安めですから、大したことではないかもしれませんが、観光で疲れていると少し億劫になるかもな、と。
それ以外は、朝食も美味しく、快適に過ごせました。 さらに表示

We had a nice stay at this ryokan. We couldn't ask for a better location, just a couple of minutes walk from one of the main streets of Kyoto and also from a lovely shrine. The service at the ryokan was also kind and generous. I wish the bathrooms were a bit bigger, but alas they are probably typical of what you find on Japan. さらに表示

Location is in an alley. Not much things to do beside sleep there. We don't do the kaiseki. Small bathroom, there is communal bath. A very basic hotel. さらに表示

this Ryokan was really nice, beautiful and great location.
Staff was extremely helpful. we forgot our passport at the hotel and they contact Agoda to get in contact with us. Same day the send the passport via express delivery to our new location, this was fantastic.

Do check out the restaurant Teppanyaki Kappa Sho. The best wagyu and teppanyaki ever!

The traditional Japanese style room left a great impression to us and the staffs are all very polite. When requested, they were very kind to show us the sightseeing route around Kyoto and with full information regarding the transport and location. Daily necessities such as tooth brush and toothpaste, towel and shampoo etc are all provided. Every day they will refill those used items and clean the room when we were out. So we have a nice and clean room everyday when we went back to the hotel. In short, it was a fantastic and enjoyable Japanese Style Hotel. さらに表示

When we arrived at the hotel, the staffs greet us with smiles. Then they guided us to our room and show us the surrounding of the hotel.
The second night when we returned to hotel, we are pleased to see that all our rooms had been cleaned. They changed the futons and put everything in the room back to their original position.
In addition, there is a public bath available to use. It was an interesting experience.
In short, we are happy and feel comfortable staying in Gion Ryokan Karaku Hotel. さらに表示

The hotel staff was super gracious and they did their best to accommodate us. The Japanese beds were very comfortable and the room size was larger that I expected. Love the large public bath, definitely give it a try. The convenient location is super wonderful, we were able to access all the lovely spots by Godai Ji and Kiyomizu with ease. さらに表示

The hotel is the right choice if you are going to visit Gion, Shijo Dori, Yasaka Shrine and Kiyomizu-dera Temple.
The room size is large compares with other hotel in the same area.
The hotel is about 10mins away from the Gion Shijo station. So it is better to take the bus between the stations, attractions and the hotel. さらに表示
