Everything about this Ryokan is perfect. We met the President of the Ryokan, he was very welcoming and generous. The service we recieve while staying here was the best we've experienced. Our stay included a traditional dinner that was delicious, showcasing a lot of local produce over many courses and a wonderful experience of Japanese culture. Our server was delightful, and made the meal very enjoyable, even recommending some of her favourite drinks. The room was exquisite. We were upgraded to a VIP suite, which had a private outdoor bath - perfect for the cool autumn evening. The beds were luxurious and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. In the morning breakfast was served buffet style with a mix of European and Japanese dishes (the pancakes were very good). The area is beautiful with the autumn foliage, and a very welcome change from the hustle of Tokyo. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone wanting to experience a traditional Ryokan stay, or just time to relax in luxury. さらに表示
