非常に満足
場所はちょっと離れていますが静かです。丹波口駅からは近いですが、ホテルを探すために時間が掛かりました。チェックインは自分で事前番号で行うのは初めてですが事前連絡が無かったので時間が掛かりました。 さらに表示

とてもわかりやすくチェックインなどができました。お部屋も整っていて、寝るだけならばとても快適でした。ただ、友人も私も何故か目のかゆさと喉のイガイガがあったので、あまり換気ができていないお部屋なのかなと思いました。

写真を見て、ある程度の大きさがあると思いいざ行ってみると驚き。
ベッド二つが並べてギリギリの大きさです。
あと、一人くらいはスタッフがいると思ったら、本当にただただ無人でした。
これでひとり10000円持ってかれたので、だいぶと損をした気分です。

The hotel was very tidy and clean., the room was a good size by international standards and certainly large for Japanese standards. The hotel was at the back of the central fresh foods wholesales market, a quiet neighborhood with no shops or food stalls nearby. The nearest 7-11 was near the JR Tambaguchi Station. which is 8 minutes walk away.
I only met one staff at the hotel, usually late in the evening. You do your check-in and scan your passport via a iPad like electronic device at the reception. You enter the hotel and your room with a password, no physical key.
I wish there were the following facilities at the hotel:
1) Extra power point in the room for the electric kettle; you do not have to unplug the fridge or TV every time you want to make a cup of tea.
2) A retractable laundry line in the bathroom
3) English speaking channel available on the TV.
3) A microwave oven available in a public area
4) Soft drinks/Coffee vending machine available in or at front of the hotel さらに表示

We didn't see any staff for our entire 3 day stay. If I hadn't had internet access on my cellphone to dig out the (2 different) needed codes, I don't know how we would have gotten in. Location is close to a train station, but not much else. It achieved what it promised - excellent value. さらに表示

The hotel is accesible via tambaguchi train station. Although it is a self check in (4pm) and check out (10am). The room is clean and tidy. Their staff in the main office (near kyoto station) are very accomodating and more than willing to assist. They also offer free shuttle service/s going to the popular tourist destinations. First, there is no staff in this hotel. Which will maybe make some people feel uneasy. However there is a phone in the entrance that you can use to call the representative office.
The place is about 5 minutes walk from Tanbaguchi station which is one station from Kyoto station. Also, several restaurants and convenience stores are available near the station.
The room is clean and comfy. The bathroom is shower only ( without bathtub), but it’s not a problem for us since we don’t use tub anyway.
Lastly, the staff is very helpful and kind. They can speak quite good English, so no worry about misscommunication problem. さらに表示

I love the hotel, it was immaculately clean. However we still prefer to have some bottled waters for free, but it was okay. I just wish there were restaurants nearby. And oh, this is a self service hotel. Secured technology in place. And quite small. さらに表示
We arrived Kyoto early thinking we can drop off our big luggages there before the check-in time however this premise itself has no staff and the luggage storage is at their main office at around Kyoto Station. We can only access this premises when we receive the passcode.
The room is nice but there is no cleaning services unless you stay for more than 3 nights and I would suggest to place a mirror near the door as the only mirror we had is in the small toilet space.

had a nice stay here, you will check in and check out by yourself in this hotel. so no staff around this hotel. this hotel near tambaguchi station, so easy to go around the city. さらに表示

All the staff from the cleaners to the customer service were amazing. Even though there was a language barrier between the cleaners, they we're very helpful to ensure that we're assisted. The hotel and the concept is new to me and very interesting. I highly recommend this place and would stay with them again when I return. さらに表示
self check in was great and fast and the room was super clean and they provide cell phone for free and that was useful, i didn't rate the staff because there was no staff, but there is no daily clean service, the location was far from any bus station like at least 10mints walks, so that wasn't easy to move around the city, especially summer time, it is close to one train station, but that won't help you to go around the city, yes they provide a bus shuttle, but i didn't found it useful because of the timing, and i didn't know where was the bus, for me didn't worked out, maybe for other it does, but i won't pay this money and there is other hotel with better location and service, any waay thanks to Grand japaning hotel for their host さらに表示
Automatic check in and check out procedure without staff is fine. No instructions or steps to show traveler how to do check in or check out by ourselves at reception counter. While the check in process cannot proceed. Staff did not explain the situation and hang up the line. We needed to call them again. There's communication problem occuried.
We requested to re-set the password of the room as we spoke out the room no. and password at lift lobby while a guest was waiting a lift and there's few room located in ground floor. Hotel informed that re-set password was not allowed by email and no follow up action was taken, even I sent the email for enquiry again.

I've been staying for 4 days and 3 nights from November 2, 2018.
It is very quiet because it's located in a residential area.
And it's located 1 station from Kyoto station to JR Line.
The new building is clean and convenient.
I also liked the mattress and bedding very much, and the soundproof room was pretty good.
This was a good thing, and I'm going to explain to you the inconvenience.
But I had a hard time checking in because this is my first unmanned hotel. Instead, it was easy and simple to check out.
The most inconvenient thing is that room cleaning service is not available on the 1st or 4th day or less because it is an unmanned hotel. さらに表示
We took the last shuttle from Kyoto station to hotel, but the bus can only drop us at main road, which still needs to walk for 5 min to hotel. As the time of arriving the hotel is late, so when walking back to hotel, it's VERY quiet, suggested to come back earlier. Except this issue, the hotel design is quite good. さらに表示
