駅前にありました。お風呂は２か所、どちらもおなじような感じで、清潔です。バスタオルが各浴場にあって入浴のたび新しいタオルが使用できるので、きもちよく何回も温泉を楽しみました。建物は少し古いですが廊下、ロビーなど広々としてゆったりくつろげます。 さらに表示

Pricey, but expected for a touristy area like Hakone. Location was very convenient and a short walk from the station. The hotel itself is very old and rundown which is a bit disappointing, but perhaps "authentic" in a way. They served Kaiseki dinner in a big dining hall so it didn't feel very intimate. さらに表示

The hotel is located very close to the Hakone-Yumoto station and close to a lot of the restaurants and shops. The onsen is clean and easy to use. The beds are futons laid over a tatami mat and the hotel offers free tea. Overall a good stay. I would recommend this place in Hakone. さらに表示

Nice and polite staffs. Very helpful. Excellent rooms. Delicious dinner and breakfast. Onsens are good. Will be even better if there are more outdoor onsen pools. Location good, but slightly far away from the train station for people with big luggages as they need to go through the busy shopping areas. Slightly expensive. Though our room doesn't have a private onsen but there's a small bathtub to be able to dip yourself in hot water. The breakfast and dinner can be requested to be served inside your room (when I arrived, the reception said that we had to have our meals in the hotel restaurant). Public onsen on both floor are great. Free daily dessert are yummy. It's a bit pity that there is no English menu available while they served us breakfast and dinner so we don't know much about what we ate and the maid who served food to us cannot speak English. さらに表示

It's not my first time to stay at this kind of half-board Japanese ryokan. Hotel Kajikaso is not very traditional one. It's kind of mixed type. We booked two rooms: one with private bath, another is normal. All come with breakfast and dinner. When we did check-in the reception said that the meals would be served in the restaurant. I claimed that the reason I booked this hotel was to have in-room meal. After that she said that we can have our meals inside our rooms (we told them to set our meal for 4 persons in one of our room). The food is nice presentation but lack of English explanation. The maid service is nice but I used to stay in another place where the service is much better (the ryokan I stayed before, the maid cannot speak English but she tries to explain and show us the room in details to know how things work. During meal, there was menu in English. However, Hotel Kajikaso has only Japanese menu in paper and the maid cannot explain us what she is serving.) For sure, there is not internet connection available. Good thing is the futon is very comfortable to sleep. Private and Public onsen are very nice. The toiletries are good ones. さらに表示

Was of the impression that the kaiseki dinner will be done in-room but was told on arrival that the hotel does not do in room dinner service anymore. Old exterior and tired interiors. Travelled together with a friend and we spent ¥91000 for 2 nights, inclusive of dinner and breakfast. The meal portions were large, with at least 15 items big and small, and fairly tasty. No complaints, just a bit pricey. I suppose we paid for the convenience of being 5 min walking distance from Yumoto station. I think a more reasonable price would be 2/3 of what we paid. さらに表示

Pros- Location is near to train station Cons - Very inflexible for my request to change room type despite 10 days in advance request. - Receptionist don’t really speak much English, hard to communicate - Meals are served in restaurant! Overall the ambience was really good. Service also good. Great experience with the traditional japanese food. But only few of staff can speak english. It was a heavy raining day and we asked for help to take us to Hakone-Yumoto Station because walking in the rain with lugagge was really difficult. Although it's a little pricey, the amazing food, service, facilities and room definitely makes up for it. We stayed in the room with a private bath and it was a lovely experience. The location is great, not too far from the Hakone Yumoto train station. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to experience a traditional ryokan. We will be back one day! さらに表示

Very convenient walk from the Hakone Yumoto station of 10 mins if you strolled. Superb public bath at the 6th floor where you enjoy both outdoor & indoor experience! Love our time there! The japanese kaiseki dinner was awesome! Def worth to spurlge for special ocassion staycation. We spend our anniversary there & they gave us a photo as momento! Will be back soon! さらに表示

Great location We can use hot spring on 6/F at night time and 2/F one in the next morning. There are indoor and outdoor area for hot spring in both floors. It is public one but there are not much people in using, so to me it is like private. Don't expect u can look at the wide view in outdoor baths, but at least u can see the starry sky at night. Moreover, there is foot bath on 2/F too. I enjoyed it with the peaceful view of the stream and warm sunlight in the morning. Room is clean and tatami is comfortable to sleep especially after relaxing in hot spring. Meals are nice and decent. Kajikaso was a quite aged hotel full of history. Located in Hakone, which was featured in Hachiko movie, the hotel was located in a serene and surrounded by picturesque mountain and sceneries. Highlight of this hotel was the caretaker lady, which will see your every needs, and also the onsen, which best enjoyed outdoor. And then when you entered the room after enjoying a nice hot soak, you will be greeted by river sound just right outside your window, which made us sleep very soundly. This stay was by far the best accommodation during our trip. The room was extremely spacious with a gorgeous view facing the river and autumn leaves. Imagine going to sleep and waking up with the soothing sounds of water flowing down the stream, absolutely relaxing. We only had a night in Hakone, so decided to skip out on the sightseeing bits and instead checked in on the dot at 3pm. Was a good choice as we had the chance to relax in the room and also since dinner was to be served at 7pm. The hotel has a hot foot bath area on the lobby level, with the same view as did our room so it was really pretty. The kaiseki dinner was extensive and pretty spectacular, and the breakfast the next morning was a generous and beautiful spread as well. There are 2 floors with onsen (hot springs) which we managed to try both at night and the next morning. Amazing in the cooler weathers, wish we could've spent more time there. There is a gift/souvenirs shop at the hotel as well, which was very convenient. Hotel staff were very helpful and polite as well. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Would not hesitate to stay there again or recommend to my friends. さらに表示

Had a lovely one night stay at the hotel. The food presentation were excellent and tasty. We had our dinner and breakfast in room and were very pleased with both of our meals.
