なにより、スタッフの皆様の対応が素晴らしい！親しみがあって、チェックアウトの際必ずどこに行くか聞いてくれて、道順を案内してくれる。荷物も預かってくれるし、チェックアウト後にシャワーを貸して頂けたこともすごくありがたかった。難点といえば、シャワー室がちょっと汚いこと。チェックインが9時までなのでそこは注意。ただ、知らなくて少し遅れてしまったが、スタッフの方が待っていてくれて初めての利用だったのでとても嬉しく、安心しました。 さらに表示

外見からもわかるように、いかにも京都の町家そのままでいい感じです。スタッフの皆さんもとても親切で助かりました。手荷物も夕方まで預かっていただけたので手ぶらで観光出来ました。ありがとうございました。 さらに表示

The staff was beyond helpful as she provided the best "to do and see" in kyoto. Was assisting us and even provided maps. All we need was attended to. I was really excited and happy to stay in this century-old hotel. We were advised that since its a ryokan, noise from outside the room can be heard but we never experienced this. The hostel is based small Japanese houses over a hundred years old and visitors can have a taste of Japanese typical sleeping style. A Location is awesome, close to bus station, Rooms are limited so it suits people who prefer not to noisy. The staff might have limited English but they are willing to express with their best effort and provide you a lot of information for traveling inside Kyoto city. さらに表示

We arrived in kyoto after 10PM,but the staff still helped us check-in.By the way,I have writed check-in late in my reservation,but I don't know whether the staff see it.The building is so beautiful,but it is a litte far away from the kyoto station.The room is clean enough and it provides free tea and power milk for guest.In a word,if you travel to kyoto oneday,I recommend the HARU. さらに表示

Have to walk 15 mins to the hostel, but there are bus stops everywhere to access main spots of kyoto. Super nice staff:) However, one big insect was found on bed one night. Also, it's easy to hear the neigbour's sound especially if they came back late or go out early. さらに表示

Kind and sweet staffs. Location is great, 3 bus stops from Kyoto station. Since it's an 100 years old wooden house, there would be some creak sound while someone is walking or moving. There are several traditional public baths near around, it's free to rent a bike from the Hostel, and you could also borrow the little basket including shampoo, conditioner and body wash in it. And it's also free. My favorite in the hostel is the living room, there is a kotatsu there. It's a japanese tale with heater attached to the underside. The free bus Navi map was the most useful thing and the bus day pass is great value. I recommend the Golden Pavillion, the Wagashi workshop and Mt. Inari shrine in Kyoto. Dotonbori st. in Osaka was a good place to buy souveneirs and has a Takoyaki workshop and Osaka aquarium is a must see. My biggest complaint is just that the kitchen didnt seem to contain a knife. Other than that the place was lovely, cheap, clean, well staffed and well provisioned. さらに表示

Because of last minute arrangements on one of the busiest times of the year in Kyoto, we ended up booking this place because there really wasn't anything else. The expectations therefore where low and we knew we were getting a very small room. Regardless of all that, this small traditional building had a very welcoming charm that made our stay very pleasant. It made us really feel the traditional allure of Kyoto. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. We also enjoyed the convenience of the location, near several major landmarks and temples. The room was tiny, which they clearly advertise so there was no surprise there. However, we are both around 1.80m tall and we did not feel uncomfortable with the space at all. More than anything the amount of space felt efficient. Also, even though it's an old style building with really thin doors and walls, it was incredibly quiet and peaceful even though the place was fully booked. We are thankful that they politely ask all guests mind this feature and were happy to comply with this. They do not have private in room bathrooms to my knowledge, only community ones, please be aware of this. They have several of these single private bathrooms and we personally did not find this to be inconvenient at all. There wasn't an issue even as the place was fully booked. These facilities were clean and well maintained. Lastly, as healthy eaters who are mostly vegetarian, we were extra delighted that they have an all you can eat restaurant on the same street with seasonal organic vegetables (and some fish/chicken for non vegetarians from organic farms). Really, for great location and charm, it was a great value for the price. We were happy to have stayed here. さらに表示

The staff are very friendly and the hostel very clean and quaint. However, when the guesthouse is at it's full capacity, the one shower between a a vey crammed 6 bed dorm and three twin rooms is totally inadequate. There are two toilets and one wash basin outside in the back yard and getting down a very narrow staircase to reach them is quite dangerous. There is no proper kitchen. There are two other buildings next door belonging to this guesthouse so I don't know if the set up within these is the same. さらに表示
