電車の時間もありあらかじめ、ホテルのチェックインが遅れる事を連絡していたにもかかわらず受付には誰一人おらず、さらに夕食はバイキング形式で時間が17時から16時45分までと決められて「もう一時間しかありませんから早くバイキング会場へ行ってください」と、せかされました。予約する時に知っていればと思いました。飛行機を乗り継ぎ頑張ってきて楽しみにしていただけにスタッフの方の対応にはがっかりでした。 さらに表示

一人当たり６,000しない、しかも土日で。。安い！ 他のおおるりグループに宿泊した事がないのですが、こちらは、夕食が囲炉裏風な所に配膳されています。ドリンクも発泡酒やワイン、日本酒、サワーも飲み放題です。 部屋については、多少畳の劣化がありますが、広いですし、ウォシュレットもついてます! 欠点を言えば夕食が冷めている（うどん鍋と茶碗蒸しは暖かい）、朝食は給食みたいな感じです。　が。。。このお値段で一泊２食、温泉入り放題はお得以外の何ものでもないと思います。 またリピートするかもしれません!(^^)! さらに表示

Locate next to Kamakura Festival. This is the best choice for you if have problem about travelling since you can walk to both Kamakura Festival and village. The room is very large. However, futon and toilet a bit dirty. Staffs were nice and friendly. さらに表示

Pros: just right in front of the Kamakura festival which is overrated. Free breakfast. Nice onsen. Value for money. Cons: they wake you up at 7am with a loud announcement for breakfast. The staff at the counter gave us the list of bus time that costs us 900yen per trip but didn’t inform us of the free shuttle bus from the hotel to the train station. The town itself is quiet and there’s nothing much to do except for the Kamakura festival and the onsen. さらに表示

We stay here for Kamakura snow festival, The google map is shown right site but wrong way . But close to Kamakura snow festival. The hotel room is quite old , less dinner and breakfast , No 7-11, no wifi in room. The onsen is quite bad , high sulfer minerals , We would not stay here again. さらに表示

Loved it. A bit of an adventure to get there, but well worth it. Yunishigawa is a charming spot and the Ryokan is like a secret hideaway. The garden onsens were really special and so quite as to be private. And the interior onsen is accessible basically 24/7. The food was simple for breakfast, we missed dinner so I can't comment on that. The rooms were large and relaxing. Some spots could do with a bit of TLC, but otherwise all good. 平家本陣hotel is located at Yunishigawa Onsen (湯西川温泉) a small hot spring town in a remote valley in the mountains of Tochigi Prefecture. It is 2.5 hrs from Tokyo via Tobu Nikko train, get down at Yunishigawaosen station. There will be buses waiting to fetch passengers into Yunishigawa town (30min ride - beautiful winter scenery and lake along the way). This is a must go place during winter, the scenery is absolutely beautiful and eyes opening for first time visitors, as the town is practically covered in snow! The hotel's reception staffs speak only Japanese, but we have no problem communicate with the help of Google Translate. The room is big, tatami styles (sleep on floor with thick mattress). The room is very warm from the central heating, hence we opened a little window to let winter air gets inside. The hotel provides full dinner meal - hotpot with variety of vege, the food is yummy and have many different food. The breakfast is buffet styles served from 7-8am. Our room has a big window with beautiful view of the snowy mountains. Heike Honjin is a great hotel to stay, as it is very near the Kamakura Festival venues (BIG and small igloos with lights). Really very beautiful at night, do prepare for the sub-zero temperature during winter. Yunishigawa Osen is a highly recommended place to visit for a night or two if you visit Tokyo during winter period, and Heike Honjin is a beautiful hotel to stay with both indoor and outdoor osen (hot spring baths). if you are adventurous, do try the osen outdoor in snow surrounding - it is simply amazing. We had a great time and enjoy the open air onsen. The hotel room size is big and bed is comfy. I really enjoy the tradition Japanese dinner style that hotel provide but breakfast selection is not that impress. View from my room is good. I will come back again to this hotel.
