Me and my partner were definitely amazed with the rooms as they are facing the sea and the view is just simply exceptional. The private onsen had a view that is overlooking the oceans. You could hear the sounds of the ocean and see the lights of hakodate in the evening from the window. I had my first experience with the Kaiseki dinner. All the dishes were delicious and very presentable. Futon that was prepared by them was definitely made out of high quality material. We had one of the best quality sleep throughout our trips on that futon. The price is high but worth every bit of it. さらに表示

Hanatsuki annex is generally the larger room with open air bath segment. It also has special lounge with a big windows to enjoy coffee, snack and seaview. Other facilities are shared with Heiseikan Shiosaitei’s customer. At the breakfast, Hanatsuki annex customer tends to get a window seat, and there will be special dishes provided in addition to normal breakfast buffet. Public bath on the top floor is large and has a nice seaview. Ladies will have a short window period to use top floor since the switching time is only 6-9 am. In-room open air bath is nice. You can hear the sound of the wave all the times. So peaceful. Keiseki dinner is wonderful. A lot of restaurant along the seaside. さらに表示

When booking, I was attracted by the images. And I was amazed after having the very first sight of the hotel. What an incredible scenery from the lounge. The room is super large for us. With delicate decoration everywhere in the room, we enjoyed our stay with comfort. Can see the perfect sea view from both the private open-air bath and the ceiling windows. Public hot spring baths are also impressive. We had the breakfast on the ocean terrace. Imagine that you sit facing the sea when eating. Just amazing. The location is a bit far away from the train station and inconvenient when encountering heavy wind and snow. さらに表示

We stayed in Japanese/Western style room overlooking the ocean. It was very spacious and the private onsen was so relaxing. You could hear the sounds of the ocean and see the lights of the fishing boats in the night. The public bath was nice too. Both the dinner and breakfast buffets were plentiful with a good variety. Since we stayed in the Hanatsuki annex, we received additional dishes such as hairy crab and a sashimi platter for dinner. At breakfast there was a delicious scallop, mushroom and bean sauté on a mini hibachi. The staff were very nice and attentive to our needs. さらに表示

The room and hotel is a little bit smell (not so bad) i would guess it come from the wood and tatami. The breakfast is good with the nice sea view. I enjoy it quite well as a hotel but not a 5 star ryokan. The staff is helpful and very polite. This part is very impressive. ' The location I do not know since we are using the car and I amd not local so we don't feel it far from center place or not , but the sea view from the room at night (espcially when there is a rain and heavy wave) is really remind me of Kindaichi fiction books. Overall, a good hotel. Nothing to feel bad at all (except please please please open the air condition in May, since it is very hot in the room especially when you are in the thick blanket.) さらに表示

I book the Open Air Bath in the room which is high tag price but I am impressed with the Check-in, Room, View from the room, Onsen Bath in the room, Public Bath and Food. Actually in thre booking, I have Buffet but the Hotel book the best place in the Dining room for me and also having special food propared for me Please try it さらに表示

We stayed for 3days and it was one of the very best we have been to if you want some quite getaway with your love ones. The morning view was breathtaking, soaking in private onsen while watching the sun rised was just spectacular. Extremely romantic! The room is huge with everything you need. The food was ok but could be better but since stayed at annex we got soecial menus everyday. Nearby is ramen bus serving at night recommened to try very ancient. Also if you walk across the river (opposite lawson) there is a hi-end sushi place "Kihara" which is amazingly fresh and valuable. All in all our time in Hakodate will always be cherich the town so peaceful no crowded tourists. We are now planning to go back again soon. さらに表示

Our stay was great. Comfortable place. Nice private onsen with Seaview. Food was not too bad but could be better. Room was very clean. Futon was the best I have slept so far, very comfortable and high quality material. You can stay just in the hotel for a full day to enjoy the facilities and the room. They have a grand public onsen but it seems like no one is using due to the private onsen they have it in the room. (Quite eerie, because when I went, not a single soul) Overall 9/10!! さらに表示

We had an amazing night in the hotel, the traditional Japanese dinner is a must to try, all the dishes are delicious. The room with private bath is a better choice of couple as the public bath is separating male and female. さらに表示

Amazing private onsen that you can enjoy with the snow flakes drifting in against the backdrop of the crashing waves... But be prepared to pay a premium. Buffet dinner had good variety and quality but the Kaiseki dinner on the 2nd night was more impressive. However, be sure to come on an empty stomach. Location was a little far from the major hakodate sights. Still possible to take public transport but we chose not to wait in the freezing snow.. So we took taxis to/fro, with each trip costing around 1500-2000yen. さらに表示

Pro: 2km away from airport and ard 10mins by taxi to JR Hakodate with 1,000Yen fare. Checking in was suprisingly fast like 1minute. The Touch of Japanese tatami room with 270degree view of the Bay.
