It's not a big hotel but a cosy lodge run by Ryoji and Junko san with 8 rooms, we took the tatami room for the experience. Very well kept rooms and facilities. There's both outdoor and indoor onsen. Good relaxation after a day in the ski field. Please opt for the dinner and breakfast option, its the best in Hakuba! Junko san cooks and bakes very well. Deserve a Michelin star for the food! さらに表示

This was an absolutely fabulous hotel! My wife and I have traveled to Hakuba four years in a row and this was the most remarkable location we've stayed to date, not that any were bad. The most outstanding feature of this hotel was the breakfast and dinner that came with our room rate. I'd highly recommend purchasing the "half-board" option, which includes breakfast and dinner. Aside from the convenience of not having to trek out in the Hakuba powder to get your meals, I can't emphasize enough how good the food was! From seafood risotto to pumpkin soup to Spanish Mackerel, to local pork, trout, and chicken dishes, not one thing we sampled was less than remarkable. This hotel is a great option for foodies! We also loved the private onsen options, which included a foot bath onsen, an indoor bath, and outdoor bath. All were meticulously clean, relaxing, and well stocked with nice soap/shampoo/conditioner. The only downside for us was that the only room available was a traditional Japanese style room which only had floor mats for "chairs" and the traditional futon bedding. As we are used to Western bedding, our backs were quite sore each morning from sleeping on the futons, but luckily, the wonderful onsen restored us. The hotel does have some Western rooms, which I would recommend requesting, though we would go back, even if it means sleeping on tatami/futon. さらに表示

The staff were super friendly throughout our stay. The food every day was just incredible and they could even cater very well for me (I am a vegan). The onsens in the hotel were a pleasant surprise and were much cleaner than the ones you go to outside. I will definitely be staying there again when I visit Hakuba next. さらに表示
