直前の予約で色々見間違えたのか、全室川や街並みが見えるのかと思っていたり、貸し切り風呂があるかと思っていたりしていたので、
到着してそれらが違ったとわかり一瞬残念に思ったのですが
仲居さんの温かい接客や、料理長さんからのお心遣い、
清潔感のあるお部屋や館内設備、
沢山宿泊のお客さまがいらっしゃったのに何故か貸し切り状態の蔵のお風呂、美味しいお料理、古い町並みや高山陣屋へのアクセスの良さなど
マイナスな部分もたちまち忘れる素敵なおもてなしをしていただいたように思います。
ゆっくりとした時間を過ごすことができ、夫婦ともに大満足の旅となりました。

すごく良い
小雪が舞う中、ささやかな冬休みを過ごすために訪れました。料理も温泉も気をてらうことなく丁度良い感じが、いかにも昔ながらの温泉旅館という印象。短い滞在でしたが、観光地にも近い絶好のロケーションで寒空の下での散策も苦になりませんでした。
一つだけ残念だったのはスタッフの対応です。マニュアル通りに全てを伝えようという気持ちは分かるのですが、日が暮れかけて早く散歩に出たいのにチェックイン時の案内に20分近く費やしたり、静かに食事をしたいのに何度も話しかけてきたり、と、全体的に過剰に感じました。
もう少しお客様の温度を汲み取って臨機応変な対応をしていただきたいところです。 さらに表示

It’s quite a transitional Japanese type onsen hotel. You can feel their friendly started from the train station. They hold your name card and welcome your at station. Shuttle is ready for your use.
However, we have dinner inside the room. The Hida steak smells remained in the room throughout the night.
There are 2 onsen for women, one is at 7th floor and the other one you have to walk to next building of the hotel. Although it’s just next, you still need to walk out in 0 degree.
Foods are normal but their service and hospitality can compansize others. さらに表示

We have received a free upgrade to the sister hotel and our stay is excellent! The staff is super friend and helpful. They even helped us to take care of our belongings in their souvenir shop so it saved our time in traveling back to hotel after our day trip to Ropeway. We have an incredible experiences in kachoan, and everything is in high standard,excellent service with consideration,meal is nice and they will try to explain all things to you even you didn’t ask. Knowing that Takayama and nearby region was famous for onsen, we explored options of Okuhida onsen... but luggage is a potential problem... so settled for Honjin.

We were very impressed with the excellent service from the staff. They helped to park our car, a traditional lady served us with tea, teaches us on how to wear yukata. Japanese / Western breakfast were great with good service. Location is very near to old town. Thumb up for Hida beef in Takayama.

It’s my first time booking a hotel and immediately getting a message from the hotel to get in touch with me regarding logistic arrangement, food allergy and etc. Hospitality began even before your trip.
The facility (onsen) is great, staff were friendly and attentive, we were treated like special guests. There was an exception as there was one lady staff who seemed more stern and unfriendly, but the rest of them were really nice.
The location is great as we can walk around to nearby attraction such as morning market and the shrine.
Room is clean with fresh sheet laid out on the futon, I did not even shower in my own room as I was using the onsen facility during my stay.

You must stay here if you come to Takayama. Location is central and convenient. Free pickup from station. Dinner and breakfast options are amazing. Don't forget to use the onsen as they will now automatically charge you Bath tax (150 yen per person per night). Price may seem expensive but it does include dinner and breakfast! さらに表示

The room is not small, river view is very good and have a great deal if you can book in advance. Pls select the choice that include dinner, so you can experience traditional Japanese style in the room. The staff is super friendly and very supportive. This hotel is in the middle of the Takayama city! It’s clean and the staffs are friendly and attentive. The location of the hotel is also excellent. It is over looking the beautiful bridge and river. It is also close to the old town district and the morning market. I highly recommend this hotel for travelers who would be visiting Takayama. さらに表示
