From the moment we arrived every detail was taken care of before we even thought about them! Aki (the manager) offered to drop and pick us up from the ski fields, booked restaurants for us each day. Breakfast was different and delicious each morning, not to mention a nice relaxing tune was always on making us feel like we're truly on holiday. There were plenty of books and movies for the times we just want to laz around. Thoroughly enjoyable experience, great recommendation for different restaurants from Aki, and most of it within easy walking distance and great value for money. Totally would recommend さらに表示

Nao and Kimi were excellent hosts and made us feel very welcome. Pension is in a great location near restaurants in Echoland and shuttle bus very accessible. Nao and Kimi were able to pick us up on our arrival and drop us off for departure and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfasts were delicious and the rooms were small but comfortable. All of the staff are super friendly and will help you out with whatever you need. We met a whole bunch of cool people here, as most people gather in the lounge room downstairs where you can enjoy some beverages with complementary snacks provided by the staff. さらに表示

We arrived with little in the way of expectations. Nao greeted us immediately, had our ski bags taken to our room and offered us beers. He ran down the list of how things would work and ensured we'd be comfortable. Having not eaten, he made a recommendation and reservation right away. Things continued like this. Nao and his entire staff were extremely accommodating. Breakfast was fresh and filling every morning. The rooms were simple but comfortable. The rest of the facilities were spotless and included a nice dining room, super comfortable living room w/ TV and Wii, shared onsen, and a ski/boot drying room. We did dinner two nights, and the 5 course meal was executed flawlessly. We came to ski and shuttle bus stops for the various resorts were a 1-2 minute walk out the door. The massage chairs and personal onsen were a nice touch after long days on the hill. English was spoken well and everything we needed was taken care of. I would recommend Eternal Flame to anyone visiting Hakuba for the location (Echoland has so much going on), the staff, and the overall vibe. I can't think of many places that exceed the comfort level we experienced. I will be back. さらに表示

Accommodation: As an older couple we like our conveniences, and we would have preferred a private bath room, but the "private" onsen (hot tub) more than made up for not having it. The rooms have Japanese and western beds, and we were surprised that we actually liked the Japanese futons. There was not much storage, so we lived out of the suitcases. Location: We were concerned about the distance to the slopes and available transportation, because for us it would have been hard to carry the skis for a long distance. It turned out that the bus stop for the public ski shuttle was not far (even judged by us older folks. For our return home (with the suitcases) the owner chauffeured us back to the bus terminal when leaving.(Much appreciated!) Food: The restaurants recommended by the owner were good and not expensive and in walking distance. The resort also runs a night shuttle for a small fee if you want to explore restaurant further away. The breakfasts at the hotel were excellent with several courses. We certainly did not expect eggs benedict, but they served them one day to our amazement. さらに表示

This place is great! As soon as we got in the owner sat us down and told us everything we needed to know, he even whipped out a Hakuba guide and rated each restaurant. He organised pick-up and drop-off of our rental equipment. Every night a staff member would make reservations to restaurants for us, draw out maps to tell us how to get there, once even drove us to our restaurant. The hotel itself is right next to a shuttle stop that goes to some resorts, and quite close to another that has the rest covered. Nice and relaxed atmosphere. The only reason you won't like this a lot is if it's imperative to you that your hotel is filled with lots of young people to party with. Otherwise, highly recommended. さらに表示

I stayed there 1 week b4 the snow season started, and was treated incredible well. I was the only guest in the hotel and due to the free shuttle not in operation was personally driven to and from the ski fields everyday. With it's central location, it was so easy to go to the different ski fields, which was only a short drive too. I was provided with breakfast that was above the quality I was expecting and wished the dinner menu was available, alas dinners started from the next week. Thankfully it was only a short walk to town for meals, so I was happy. The owner and his family were lovely, and got on very well. Were happy to have a chat and enjoyed hearing about myself and my adventures. There English was very good, only a few times having to adjust what I said to be understood. The rooms came with a heater that heated the space very easily, my room came with a bathroom but was a little colder than would have liked, but it was a minor thing. With all the positives this lovely place has to offer, I would strongly consider anyone staying here. I know when I come back, this is where I will be staying. さらに表示

Kort en krachtig: uitstekend. Hoteleigenaar was uiterst behulpzaam en kwam met goede voorlichting over de stad en skimogelijkheden. Prima verzorgd ontbijt met een mix van Japanse en Westerse gerechten. Ook restaurantsuggesties waren uitstekend. Mooie locatie om nog een keer terug te komen! さらに表示
