The staff are so friendly here. Very nice. The hotel has some parking spots at the front. They have a washer and dryer on the 2nd floor which I used to do some laundry. The hotel is at the top of a hill about 1 minute walk to the terminal for the lift to go to the top of Mt.Hakodate. Walking down the hill to go get some food or see some sights is easy, but the walk back up can be a bit tiring. I enjoyed the chance to work off some calories. Room was nice. I would stay again さらに表示

As mentioned in other reviews - this is a rather old hotel, but we were charmed by it! Firstly, the location is great - just next to the ropeway for mount hakodate. There was a park next to it with food stores during cherry blossom, but we didnt get to go unfortunately. The service staff deserved a mention. Even though they were clearly not fluent in english, the hotel staff went out of their way to help us and make us feel comfortable. We had an early train to catch to Tokyo and they helped to source for connecting buses, breakfast options etc.. they were super friendly as well and would not hestitate to try conversing in English, which helped break the ice! Hotel also comes with a japanese style public bath - a small one but cosy, useful for a good nights sleep. さらに表示

The hotel staff are excellent interms of friendliness and helpfulness. The hotel is just 2 minutes walk to the Cable car to Mt Hakodate. The only inconvience is that you need to walk a slightly steep slope if you are going anywhere else. さらに表示

A very basic hotel that offers travellers most things that they need. As usual, we were never disappointed with the service of the Japanese. Staff were friendly and helpful. Though with limited English and limited Japanese between the two parties, we still exchanged valuable conversations. さらに表示

I was a bit concerned when trying to book a room in Hakodate, and everything but the most expensive hotels was booked. Then there was Hotel Hakodateyama. In the end, I had no regrets. First, the location is perfect for taking the ropeway to the top of Mt. Hakodate, seeing much of Hakodate's heritage area, and is just a 15 minute walk from the renovated warehouse and restaurant zone. But more importantly, the staff were excellent. Yes, it's an old hotel with limited facilities that hasn't been refurbished in a while, and yes, the restaurant is only open for a limited breakfast. But everyone working at Hotel Hakodateyama seemed to actually care about doing the best with what they've got, and treating guests like real people. No automaton "by the manual" approach like at so many other Japanese hotels. So my wife and I were very happy with our stay, and would book a room at the hotel again without any hesitation. さらに表示

with free hot drinks, message chair, which are the best for the tourists who walked a lot. The view from restaurant on 5/F is fascinating! The room spacious. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only disadvantage is the location, climbing up the slop with luggage is not suggested for elderly. さらに表示

Haketado is a small city. Especially at night time, sightsee place and seafood restaurant just located around station area. After dinner, you might rasily take 10 mins train to the slope heading back to the hotel. さらに表示

위치는 하코다테 산 로프웨이랑 같은 블럭으로 일반적인 중심가인 아카렌가나 하코다테 역 인근과는 동떨어져 있습니다. 이쪽도 하코다테 산과 개항기 서양 건축물들이 있기 때문에 관광 거점으로썬 크게 나쁘지 않지만 식당은 거의 없고 편의점도 멀리 있습니다. 외딴 곳이지만 로프웨이 옆이란 점 때문에 대중교통은 9시 쯤까지는 이용 가능합니다. 버스가 끊어지면 노면전차로 와야 하는데 역에서 거리가 좀 되고 오르막이기 때문에 눈 내린 겨울에는 접근성이 좋지 않습니다. 호텔은 상당히 오래되었으며 쇼와 시절의 분위기와 설비를 상당부분 그대로 갖고 있습니다. 일회용 비품도 적은 편이고(면봉, 샤워타올 등 없음) 시설도 관리는 잘 되었지만 상당히 낡았습니다. 최상층의 식당은 정말 옛날 분위기가 납니다. 깔끔하고 현대적인 비즈니스 호텔에 편의성은 견줄 수 없지만 가격은 싼 편이고 옛날 느낌도 즐기는 여행객이라면 큰 문제는 안 될 겁니다. 그래도 방 크기는 상당히 큰 편입니다. 직원들도 일본 호황기 시절의 분위기를 옮겨놓은 듯한 옛날 스타일이지만 친절했고 영어 실력도 나쁘지 않은 편이었습니다. 아침식사는 일본식 정식으로 나오는데 적당히 괜찮았습니다. 식당에서 보니 외국인은 거의 없는 거 같고 주로 가족여행 온 일본인들 위주였습니다. 확실히 외국인 관광객들 기준으론 너무 복고풍이라 편치 않을 듯 합니다. 일반적으로 편한 숙박을 위해서는 추천할 수 없는 곳이나 성수기에 시내 호텔이 너무 비쌌던데다 관광 동선 상 위치도 나쁘지 않기 때문에 택했는데 제 기준에선 나쁘지 않았습니다. 하지만 워낙 옛날 스타일이고 위치가 좋다고 하기 힘든 점 등으로 추천하긴 어렵습니다. さらに表示
