This was a great location. My family had fun seeing the monkeys, and as an added bonus, this hotel had a private onsen so my husband and I were able to go in together. A first for us! さらに表示

Paid $130ish per night weekdays for a family of 5. The room was an average Japanese room. It was small and clean with no frills. There is a men's and a women's public onsen. There is also 2 private onsens and both are a decent size. Did not eat at the hotels restaurant so can't comment. We were two families and did bring take out back to the hotel one evening. We were shown to a large room with tables to eat at and a karaoke machine and ping pong to play with. Was very close to the snow monkeys. About 4km. Not much else to do around the hotel for families, but there are plenty of restaurants near by. Would definitely stay here again. さらに表示

8 days stay for snowboarding nearby. Nice staff ! Onsen is okay based on the price. However, taste of breakfast is not so good and tedious. Location to station is around 5 mins. very convenience! さらに表示

Booked our stay here through Agoda, thought all was paid for, so we were surprised to learn about onsen tax (charged on a daily basis) upon checking out. Wish we were informed about this when checking in.
Staff doesn't speak English, as most people in the area, so it'd be handy if you could speak AND read Japanese! On the other hand, owner is able to converse in English.
Hotel is very dated. So is the onsen, and it's well maintained and clean enough, but there are other much nicer onsens in the area. さらに表示
