Very memorable stay at the hotel. Sparkling clean room with excellent amenities. Remarkable services by the staff from check in, during the stay, to check out. A room with a view of Mt Fuji and a pretty Japanese garden offered an extra tranquility. Impressed with their kaiseki dinner and the wide range of breakfast options. Highly recommended! さらに表示

Everything about our experience in this hotel has been perfect. We got a room with a private onsen featuring a fantastic view of Mt Fuji. Rooms are spacious, and every walkway, hall, wall - virtually every nook and cranny's intricately designed and picturesque. The garden is an attraction all by itself. All the staff are incredibly warm and willing to delight and serve their guests. I wanted to explore and all the time the staff in yukatas would insist on guiding us to wherever we wanted to go. The Kaiseki dinner and the breakfast were great. We were the only foreigners during our stay save for another one, and we enjoyed the boisterous energy and company of locals esp during the Taiko Drum Show and the bingo game that followed soon after (I even won a minor prize). I've been to far more expensive hotels but I'd still put this on top. The only downside is it's still more expensive than what you'd normally pay for a room, but I'd have to argue that the experience is all worth it. さらに表示

We stayed in a room with an outdoor bath overlooking Mt Fuji. Incredible. We had a package where breakfast and dinner were included. Breaky was a Buffett lots of choices both Japanese and western. Dinner the first night was not so good and our waitress was from Taiwan. She was very nice but for the money we paid it is not acceptable to have foreign staff. We came for a true Japanese experience and this was most disappointing. I think they give the foreign staff to westerners but I have been in Japan 15 times so I understand the culture. The second nights dinner was a proper kaiseki meal of 7 courses served by a Japanese woman who was the epitome of elegance and Japanese culture. Our dinner was served in a beautiful room with silver walls overlooking the garden. Perfect. The Onsen on the roof with unobstructed views to Mt Fuji is the pinochle of staying in this hotel. I will keep this memory for my entire life. さらに表示

It provides feeder bus service for pick up and drop off at various tourist points. Within the hotel, it’s tastefully decorated with a huge beautiful japanese garden. It has a few onsens and one of them is outdoors with the majestic Mount Fuji view. The dinner arranged at the hotel room was really sumptuous and makes us feel so pampered. If I were to travel back to Mount Fuji, I will definitely stay back into this same hotel. さらに表示

Does not worth the money. Private hotspring was a bit dirty and food was not impressive at all and even the service was only so so. The only good thing is you get to see mount Fuji if the weather is good. さらに表示

Stayed two nights for my honeymoon in mid May, stayed in one of the Yamabiko-Tei rooms with private bath, garden view. The experience is overall fantastic. Service, facilities, presentation of building interior, cleanliness, friendliness are faultless. Needing special mention are the gardens outside - they were simply magnificent during that time of the year with the yellow and red leaves. We were also impressed with the Kaiseki dinners. And managed to catch the peak of Mount Fuji (requires you to wake up before 8am though). The only thing to note is the location. It was in Fujiyoshida rather in Kawaguchiko (neighbouring towns, so it's not too big a deal). The location is 10mins drive from the nearest train/bus station (Mt Fuji). They provide a free shuttle service every 30mins to either Mt Fuji station or Kawaguchiko station - which we used to visit Kawaguchiko town. さらに表示

We love everything there! The service is really nice! The food from breakfast to dinner is amazing and of wonderful quality. We didn't expect the breakfast buffet to be that nice! We stayed there for 2 nights and we were sad that we didn't spend more days in this hotel. You can see Mount Fuji when you are in the onsen. However, the days we were there, Mount Fuji was being shy... We were lucky to see fireflies in the garden of the hotel during the night. They have this fireflies festival every summer. It was a wonderful experience. We were surprise to find that most of the people who stayed in this hotel were actually locals. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to enjoy top quality service and food! さらに表示

We felt like royalty from the moment we stepped into Hotel Kaneyamaen. The grounds were beautifully kept, and the service was impeccable. We were able to call the hotel through a payphone at the Mt. Fuji station for the shuttle pick-up. The day we arrived the rooftop onsen was reserved for women only, so I was able to watch the sunset with an unforgettable view of Mt. Fuji. We felt very lucky we were able to see Mt. Fuji on a clear day (early April visit). Make sure you are familiar with onsen etiquette, as some staff members that attend the onsens are not as fluent in English as the front desk. The next day was reserved for men, and we surprisingly woke up to snow! We also had a private onsen in our room, and the view was truly breathtaking. Of course, the weather will be variable during your visit, but the gardens and activities provided (taiko show/bingo) kept us engaged but still feeling very relaxed. The kanseiki meal and breakfast buffet was delicious! さらに表示

Hotel Kaneyamaen is the best place I have ever stayed at. The private onsen in my room was awesome and so relaxing. The staff was so nice and accommodating. There is a tea ceremony in the garden in the day before 6 PM, which was short and delicious. The Japanese garden in the hotel is enormous and beautiful! Lots of opportunities to take great photos. The dinner was held in our room and was so delicious. The Taiko drum show and bingo was a fun way to entertain guests. The breakfast is held in a buffet style and was very impressive and delicious. I wish I could stay here every time I come back to Japan. Tip: If you are coming from Tokyo, please contact the hotel ahead of time to get on a shuttle at Mt. Fuji station. We made the mistake of not doing that and ended up taking a bus and walking quite a bit from Mt. Fuji station. さらに表示

I have booked a Yuraku Yamabiko-tei Mount Fuji View Japanese Style Room with Private Open-Air Bath - Non-Smoking room. The hotel is clean, large and neat. I can see the top part Fuji mountain from the private bathroom, but the sides of the mountain is blocked by trees and the window. I expected to see the Fuji with a wider view :( The hotel provides an early dinner, so unfortunately I have to miss the rooftop hotspring (which has best view of Fuji) opening time because it closes before 6:30pm for ladies. It closes all night and switch to only gentlemen in the morning. However, the Red Fuji public bath is not bad for viewing Fuji. It was not crowd. The nearest convenient store requires 15mins walk. Excellent dinner and breakfast. Very helpful and patient staff. Overall I am still satisfied. さらに表示

Define recommend all people to stay here! Even though the price is extremely high, it worth for it. You can enjoy the hot spring and looking at the Mt.Fuji at the same time. We are so lucky that can see the Sakura in our stay here. The foot hot spring is nice too. The breakfast not bad, but the dinner is very good experience for the Japanese traditional dinner. After dinner, will have a show and Bingo Game. You can call the shuttle bus to drive you to the hotel when you arrive Mt.Fuji Station and you can take the shuttle to the nearest station as well. さらに表示

Open Air Private Onsen is a must as a couple, the view of Mt Fuji wasn't the greatest as it was a side-on view which other Rooms may have slight differences. Rooftop Onsen is seperated with sessions for gender, although offers and best view of Mt Fuji. さらに表示

I stayed here for 2 nights. The staff were all friendly. The service was amazing especially the food. My mom and I have substatial amounts of food restrictions and the hotel was able to accommodate us on everything. I would like to personally thank the staff and crew for accommodating us and providing us an unforgettable experience. Our room was beautiful and spacious and we had a nice view of Mt. Fuji. I would definitely come back and recommend this to my family and friends. さらに表示

Not usually mentioned in reviews but there's 2 full body electric massage chairs in our room. Nespresso coffee and 3 types of green tea leaves available in room as well. Our room was half board and the dinner and buffet breakfast was also excellent. Good value if you consider how much you will have to spend on similar standard meal outside or at other luxury hotels. If I have to nitpick, the room could do with a few more power outlets and wifi is only available around the rooms and lobby. No reception once you get to the hotel restaurants or park or the pool area. Overall, wonderful stay. Highly recommend. さらに表示

At first we thought it's just another Japanese style hotel, but once inside, all the facilities are of high quality, totally unexpected! Nespresso coffee making machine already filled with water, Dyson fan, ionic hair blow-dryer (new style) to use. Face pampering set include 1 set for "Homme" and 1 set for ladies, 2x massaging chairs in the room, great to relax after onsen. Breakfast and dinner are of good quality also! Although we didn't get to enjoy the rooftop onsen and the Zen garden due to poor weather. Would love to stay here again and hope for better weather overlooking the Mt. Fuji! さらに表示
