Would highly recommend staying elsewhere. It feels like the hotel was built in the late 90s and was then never renovated. Our 'annex' did not have showers. It only had squat toilets and we had to cross the road to the other building to use the shared facilities which had no privacy. Every space felt dirty. Our room itself was simple which was alright for us. But the amenities were from the 90s again. The heater was not working when we arrived and we had to borrow an outside heater just to be able to sleep in the cold. The reception on our side of the building was never even manned. さらに表示

This small hotel is out of the way in Iwatake and about a 1 hour walk to Hakuba. There is a single seater chairlift about 200m from the hotel which takes you to the ski fields. This would have been good to know from the hotel management but we found it by chance. There seemed to only be one staff member in this hotel who did a great job with his limited English and allowed me to upgrade me to a room with a bathroom. The Hakuba night bus stop is only 1- 2minute walk away which is handy, although it is a limited service. A taxi from Hakuba costs 2000-3000yen. There is a 711 about a 10 minute walk away if you need food, otherwise there aren't any affordable food options. Overall, good if you are on a budget and the Iwatake ski field which takes 10-15 minutes to get to is really good. さらに表示

Booked a japanese style annex and was given a twin bed room instead. Kinda of a theme with Agoda, seems they don't have the best communication with their hotel affiliates. Overall great stay, awesome friendly and helpful staff. Easy access to the mountain and bus stop. Onsen was a plus! さらに表示

It's 5mins away from a free ski lift point to Iwatake resort and right next to where you take the lift up to the resort, there is a decent ski equipment rental shop at a reasonable rate and give you discount without you asking! The hotel's basic equipment are there. Despite the convenience to the resort, it's not particularly close to anything such as convenient store on foot, you will need to be very smart with the local buses or you'd have to spend lots of money on taxi, otherwise you'd have to walk at least 20minutes to the closest shop and 40minutes to the supermarket. Now if you already planned to rental a car, then you are fixed! For the good value, I have nothing to complain about this hotel. Enjoy your stay! さらに表示
