内風呂と露天風呂で違うタイプの泉質を楽しめます。温度は湯畑の公衆浴場に比べるとかなり良心的42度くらいでした。入りやすく、ずっと浸かっていたい！そう思える温泉でした。 さらに表示

I stayed at Hotel Sakurai in July and I found this hotel is pretty nice. Their location and service are recommended. They have shuttle bus provided and the hotel rooms are very spacious. If they could improve their breakfast and dinner it would be even more perfect. I stayed there two nights and they served same kind of food every day. While I had a great stay at this hotel, I’m not sure if my experience would have been the same if I hadn’t been with a friend who spoke Japanese. There is very little English signage. There’s a shuttle from the bus station, but the sign is in Japanese. The facilities are good. Room was clean and comfortable. Meals were buffet. Good selection of Japanese, Chinese and Western food. The public bath was clean and spacious. Easy walk to the center of town. The staff were very good. Once again, not sure if I would have been able to take full advantage of the facilities if I had been traveling alone. I didn’t see any other westerners in the hotel. さらに表示

Pros There is a free shuttle bus to yubatake from 3pm or it takes 8-10 mins by walking. The conceirg staff gave a free umbrella due to the rain when I was leaving after checked out. Staffs carry luggages and take for guests for a hotel tour then to the room. Good drum show at 8.30pm, and give away ¥500 if you volunteer to dance on the stage. Good buffer dinner and breakfast, has many choices and varieties. I would stay here again Cons A bit far from yubatake if walking. But the hotel offers a free shuttle bus every 30 mins. さらに表示

Location was good since it wasn’t too far to the station and the main attraction.The onsen outside our room on the balcony was superb n the room was beautiful but it was quite pricy for that since we thought we would get a private room for our dinner, but it was a buffet instead for both dinner n breakfast. But overall the onsen were really good n big, big enough to fit 2 ppl in the tub!so relaxing~ さらに表示

Not value for money as it’s comparatively expensive compared to my other hotel stay in Kusatsu. Poor reception as staff unwilling to help with luggage to room. Had to tell him multiple times to do so. He did it unwillingly. Dining area feels like army camp as we were dumped in a gigantic hall with unending rows of tables. The Onsen was so lousy - a long indoor Onsen and a mini outdoor one. Pathetic ! Totally lacks any ambience. My worst encounter with Onsen in Japan. さらに表示

We had a good experience here, just one thing to note is that the rooms with the open air bath are not linked to the hot spring water. It is just regular hot/warm water, I wasn't aware of this initially however it is still a nice thing to have. Other than that the rooms were clean and staff were very friendly. さらに表示

My original booking email says the total price inclduing 10% service charge, 8% tax and 300 YEN bathing tax should be JPY 26,088 which is around $232.15 USD; In fact, after checking out, with no explanation and authorisation from the hotel, they charged my credit card $242.15.
