Our stay in Hotel Sunshine Kinugawa was better than expected. We enjoyed mostly the splendid view of Kinugawa River by the Ryokan's balcony and the onsen facility which opens from 5am to 12am local time. We were also surprised that food is buffet-style for both breakfast and dinner so we had our tummy full without having to binge eating in the middle of the night! Staff were very friendly and helpful to us. For further info, there is a bus that brings you from Kinugawa Onsen station directly to the hotel for those who cannot walk. There is a free shuttle bus service however during checkout (from hotel to the train station) which needs to be arranged upon check in. There is also a family run ramen stall across the road and a mart which opens till 7pm right next door which makes it so convenient. The hotel may be a little old however it does provide an authentic traditional Japanese feel and overall it was a great experience for my family & very much value for money! さらに表示

The hotel is far from train station 850 m. But the view is great abd far from 7-11 ,250 m. Room is ryokan and big , clean Onsen is good qaulity mineral water . Suggest buy morning and evening food , very nice . We would stay here on the next time on November. さらに表示

Good location,some staffs are friendly but most are unapproachable.no hair combs and cotton buds available which we mostly needed after shower.breakfast menu are excellent for the cost and we enjoyed our stay because we love the invironmental sorroundings pershaps of some unfriendly staffs we meet.i will recommend this hotel to some of my friend. さらに表示

Room was spacious! From the window and balcony you can see the river, bridge, and mountain. It was so beautiful in autumn time. Buffet was amazing, every one ate a lot of crab legs but the have large volumes. The grilled beef was so delicious! Cleanliness was normal, there were some bugs on the balcony so need keep the window closed, but it’s not problem of hotel. Onsen was normal, a bit crowded during 15:00-17:00. But very few people in the morning. Overall, we enjoyed the feeling of staying in the room and the view outside. Will consider again if visit kunugawa one more time. さらに表示
