A beautiful and traditional home in Kyoto from which to expose the city. Extremely high standard of accommodation, certainly a great place if you want your own base in the city and the experience of living in a very old, but modern standard house. さらに表示

Family of 2 teenagers. Tried out the Iori Machiya stay in Kyoto. Property is conveniently located, less than 5 minutes walk to Gojo Station.
Staff spoke decent English. We used the concierge services to make arrangements to courier our luggages to another city. Arrangements was neat and superb. Luggages arrived without any hitch. We loved the property. Heated flooring. Tatami flooring for the bedrooms. Nice kitchen with kitchenette. Did our laundry in the property. One of the staff, San-chi, made the effort to highlight to us places on interest in Kyoto City area.
Will make a return visit if we visit Kyoto again. さらに表示

This place is amazing a real mix of authentic historic Kyoto and modern facilities . We loved our stay here - we shopped at supermarket 100 m away with the locals, enjoyed our second coffee each morning whilst the workers started weaving - something very decidant about being on holiday whilst others are working! We had maps to get to all main sights and hoped on the buses to get around! This place exceeded our expectations maps to get to places of interest were included and we found this to be a great base to get around Kyoto. さらに表示

The house was very cozy, despite the weather. The condition is very well-maintained, and we would have loved to have a good dinner spread in it but ultimately did not get to try. They also emphasized rules that were important in keeping the condition, such as no fire/smoking. Those who love the old and classic would love this, a splurge though! さらに表示

The Sanbo Machiya is truly magnificient. The beautifully restored town house gave us a refined experience of living in a traditional home. The highlight of our trip to Japan and a perfect complement to the history of Kyoto. さらに表示

距离锦市场步行十分钟左右距离。房间布置得比较地道，设施齐全，微波炉、冰箱、咖啡机、电视机、电熨斗均有，可以在入住期间体悟当地人的居住方式和生活习惯。退房手续极简，只需在上午11点前将房门钥匙放入门口报箱即可。该房间更适合冬季之外的季节入住，舒适度会更高，房间内上下两层的两个空调及三个电暖器需要不停的开启几小时后，才能保证室内温度适宜，否则透风撒气的老宅子住起来很不舒心。门户很安全，一楼卫浴蒸汽过大时，整个屋子会报警提示，只需打开门窗即可解除警报，夜间房顶偶有小动物跑来跑去，胆小女生入住需要有思想准备。 さらに表示
