Location is good, on top of a hill which gives a stunning view over the ocean and town. Need a car to get around though, although the hotel helped us to book a taxi for a night out. Onsen is excellent and free private onsen use is really great, it was our first time to use a private one and it even had an indoor and outdoor bath in it. Huge selling point for me. Many free amenities were provided, including 24 hour coffee and snacks at the small bar area. Outdoor and indoor seating is plenty and staff are very friendly. Room was beautifully clean and a really lovely Japanese style tatami floor room, with comfortable futons and Japanese style table on the floor as well as normal coffee table and chairs. Yukata and slippers also provided. Cannot fault anything. Didn't try the breakfast or dinner as I don't eat seafood, but my partner said it looked delicious and most likely very fresh.
