The room was super spacious with two queen sized comfortable beds. Air conditioning kept us at the right temperature and the kitchenette was great for breakfasts. You could probably quite comfortably make dinners as well. We loved the area with temples, grocery stores, and subways nearby. We even walked here from the Kyoto station but taxied back at the end as it really was a bit far to walk with luggage! Would highly recommend and stay again. Lovely little hotel, great sized room and very helpful staff. There were a few cons to this stay... You cannot check in before 4pm, so don't bother arriving early, trust me. There will be nobody on reception before 10am but there is a phone which connects to someone somewhere. The location isn't ideal to any transport so be aware you will need to walk a distance to and from a train line or bus. And there is no elevator in the hotel and only stairs upto reception so be aware of that. Lovely hotel though, has a kitchenette and washing machine plus a big wet room and bath. Spacious rooms with all you need. Easy walk to all of the Gion district. Eateries an easy walk also to busses for link to the city. No shuttle bus from hotel back to the city on leaving was a dissapointment a as it seemed implied in promotion material. Hotel staff v/poor english and hard to get any sence from them. if you are looking a place full of facilities and near to sightseeing, this place is just right for you. but if you are the one with lots of heavy luggages, better to inform them assign you at 1st floor as there is no lift. we buy japanese food and do a simple hotpot in hotel, quite happy with all the kitchen utensils. nearby has one famous tempura edo restaurant. さらに表示

The service is superb. They have an information centre near kyoto Station and provide free shuttle to hotel. The room is spacious with 2 Queen size beds, like a mini studio. Even washing machine is provided. Location is not great as no metro nearby but can always take bus. さらに表示

This location was conveniently located near the tourist spots and the locals. The hotel was just enough for my family. We had such a lovely time having breakfast together using the kitchenet provided. There were some opportunity with the kitchen walls that could use some wiping, but minor compared to the costly alternative. Beds were comfortable and the restrooms were clean. It was a great value and there were 6 of us renting two rooms. The environment outside the hotel was beautiful. It is lined with shrines and private homes that are well kepts and very clean. We were surrounded by lantern lit streets and the ambience was perfect for relaxing stroll and good conversations. There were nearby great restaurants around the area for the value if you are brave enough to step inside despite the lack of English menu for some. The surrounding area was impressively very clean. Basically you can explore the whole Gion while staying here. The room facilities are clean and useful, no matter you want to eat outside or buy something to cook yourself. The neighborhood is quiet but only takes 10 minutes walk you can find nice local restaurants, supermarkets, convenience stores and bars. さらに表示

They have a shuttle service near kyoto station, room has everthing we needed, the free detergent for the washing machine and the drying area are added bonuses. Close to a supermarket. Would stay here again. さらに表示

Location is good, with 3 convenient store just outside the main road. Travel by bus to places of interest in convenient. No staffs at hotel, all communicate through e-mail n iPad. check-in is 4pm. overall is good. さらに表示

The room was clean and consider huge. The room can fits 3 pax per room and the hotel provide microwave, minibar, even the portable induction with the cooking utensil in each room. No check in or check out counter. It's a self check in / out using the iPad on top the small table located just infront the main entrance. The hotel provide a take a break room complete with coffee machine and heater. You can use it for free especially after a long walk during the winter time and you can even have your breakfast there in the morning because they provide bottomless coffee. Location wise, 15mins walk to kiyomizu dera and 10 mins walk to Gion Station and walking distance to Nishiki market. さらに表示

The washing machine in the room gave off a foul smell and although the staff were sympathetic they failed to fix the issue over a number of days! I asked for an alternative room but as the hotel was fully booked they were unable to accommodate this. Other a good location with adequate facilities. さらに表示

Love the spacious room and big bed compared to rooms at other places in japan. Good kitchenette and washing machine. Very clean. Suitable for long stay. Location in gion was perfect, love the beautiful neighbourhood. Shops nearby. Automatic check in was easy. さらに表示
