Very beautiful place to stay you can view Mt. Fuji from most of the rooms.. Facilities are very well equipped & the rooms are quite comfortable too... The common area is quite stylish for those who love to take pictures.. Btw there's a very cute house cat ! :) さらに表示

The location is perfect, just walking distance within 10min from Kawaguchiko Station. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hostel environment was so breezy and cozy, especially the dining area and the terrace can see the mount. Fuji if the weather is good. Had a wonderful stay in this hostel. The hostel is in an awesome location with a great view of Mt. Fuji. The staff were really friendly and the restaurant inside the hostel had some really delicious food. The dorm was clean and quite spacious. The hostel is made from wood so you can hear people walking around. I would definitely stay here again if I were to ever come back to Kawaguchiko. さらに表示

I personally enjoyed my stay at Kagelow. Staff is kind and friendly, the large dining room is the perfect place where to eat/drink something while admiring mount Fuji. Moreover, I found pretty convenient and cheap to rent a bike from the hostel to have a trip around the lake (really fine quality bike). さらに表示

Room is good and good view of fujisan. Restuarant food taste food too. However japanese occupants in next room were screaming and laughing and shouting at top voices even after 1am midnight. Too noisy to sleep. Good stay if all hostelmates are considerate. さらに表示

We stayed as a group at this hostel for 2 nights. It is about a 10 minute walk from the Kawaguchiko train/bus station on a quieter side of town. It has a view front door of Mt. Fuji and a friendly cat named Mia-chan. Recommended hostel for the Kawaguchiko area. さらに表示

Pros: The view of Mt . Fuji, cosy lounge area and over all nice aesthetics of the property. Free towels in private rooms and useable kitchen. Cons: Since the hostel is made of wood upstairs, it can get creaky and noisy especially if some guests are not mindful on how they walk or close the door. さらに表示

The hostel is so clean and the receptionist guy is so cute. They can speak pretty good English so there is no problem communication. Checking in is seamless. The location is about 10 mins away from the train station. Convenience store is about less than 5 mins walk away. There is heater in the room so it is warm and cozy. You have to bring your own toothbrush and towel, otherwise they do sell them too. The bathroom is very clean with bathtub and hairdryer is available. There is a mini pantry for you to heat up food and boil water. There is a mini bar/restaurant in the hostel itself. Wifi is available too. I would highly recommend the hostel for its price, convenience and cleanliness. You can also see the mt fuji right outside the hostel. さらに表示

Beautiful designed and cozy atmosphere. Staff are all friendly and helpful. You can see the amazing view of Mt. Fuji when you wake up, but you can't see Kawaguchiko because it's not by the lake. You have to go to the station to take a bus if you're going to the lake. Too bad that I only stayed there for one night. I would definitely come back again. The neighborhood is really dark at night. And it could be really tiring to walk from the train station to the hostel when you're with a suitcase. さらに表示

I have to say it's a lil bit far from the station, about 10+ min walk. But along the way, you can visit Kawaguchiko Post office if you want limited postcards; also, Fuji Tempura Idaten is a good choice for late dinner. The hostel is clean and provide washing machine, bicycle for rent, etc. The staff is nice and helpful; plus, you can enjoy their delicious european breakfast (500yen) while having a little peak of Mt. This hostel still be my favorite anyway even it’s a bit far from Kawaguchiko station. (10 mins walk ) The only thing I was wonder is they didnt input the cover of the bed sheets, pillow , blanket? They prepared it on the bed so I have to do on my own... さらに表示

I like the small garden with lamps at night infront of guest house. Unfortunately, the shared kitchen and the place for dining too small. So for the people who would like to cook their own special food due to their religion or dietary issue, this is not the place to stay. But they have a restaurant selling western and japanese food with reasonable price. The staff is very nice especially Yuji (hope I don’t spell it wrongly) さらに表示
