What a lovely and special place to stay, although small in size, very cozy and comfortable. The host Tomo is absolutely friendly and helpful, he gave great advice on where to go around the area. Will definitely recommend and come back! さらに表示

Near station - about a lil over 1KM.
They have tatami.
Tomo was approachable.
Can use the facilities in the house except for the washer/dryer that you have to pay for.
Reception is not always available, so you have to advise them in advance when you are arriving. No heater in the room but the bed has its own heater.

The location was very good because is a little walk to Kyoto station. The best thing is that the owners are really nice and helpful, they did care about our trip and try to help us with some troubles we had and that was a surprise for us and are very thankful. さらに表示

Kaikoteki Mirai is an exceptionally lovely and homely hostel. I had the best nights sleep here as it is so very cosy, comfortable and peaceful. There is a real homely touch you don't get with other hostels - a lot of love and care has been put into the decor and you will feel so at home you do not want to leave! Loved staying here while at Kyoto, it is well kept, well located and I would not stay anywhere else in Kyoto. Tomo the host is generous, gentle and always available to help you. It took me a few minutes to find the place but that is because Im not good with directions. The place was actually near and easy to find if you just know how to follow the instructions written. Very friendly and helpful owner and staff. さらに表示
