祇園周辺の繁華街、鴨川と高瀬川まで徒歩ですぐの、最高の立地でした。 和風であたたかみのあるインテリアはとても雰囲気がよく、新しく清潔な部屋、浴場その他の施設もとても快適でした。 中居さん達の機転がよく利き、浴衣のサイズ等こちらから申し出る前に対応してくれました。難しい英語が話せなくても外国人に英語でコミュニケーションを心がけてくれ、とても気持ちよく滞在する事が出来ました。 一つだけ残念なのは、旅館側の問題ではありませんが、共同浴場のマナーをよく知らない外国からの旅行者の方々もいるため、小さな事かも知れませんが使用した桶と椅子はお湯で流して片付ける等「後の人への心遣い」がもっと浸透するといいなと思いました。 さらに表示

便利な立地で、四条や祇園に食べに行くのに徒歩 観光も大抵、電車一本です 建物は新しくはないですが、和モダンなエントランスに、昔ながらの和式のお部屋 大きなお風呂場があるのもいいです 祇園祭中のため、少々割高ではありますが、朝食込みのお値段で納得です 但し、エアコンが古くてうるさいのと、朝ごはんが7-8:30と早い、短いのが、朝寝坊したい会社務め人の観光には辛いです さらに表示

It's a very great place for ryokan stay if you're looking to stay with a budget. I really enjoyed the kaiseki traditional japanese breakfast! And it has an awesome location surrounded by plenty options for great restaurants. Just a few minutes away from Sanjo subway station and across both 7-eleven and lawson convenience store. The room has it's own private bathroom and very clean, and the public bath on the basement floor is clean and very nice. Staffs are very helpful & polite. We'll definitely come back for ryokan stay here when in Kyoto. さらに表示

Location is awesome, near train station, many restaurants and shopping. Service is great. Rooms were clean, amenities and necessities were provided (staff even provided a jug of water every night). Onsen was also clean and enjoyable. Breakfast was nice. Only downside is the ensuite bathroom had a cigarette smoke smell. But in all an enjoyable stay and experience. さらに表示

Had two night in this hotel, u can using English contacted with thier staff , and very great location cause it's near by the 京都‧鴨川納涼床(Kamogawa), we could see the river just opend the window in the room!! Before sleeping there were staff came to your room to prepare the bed, very intrestine. :D Enjoyed the Festival event named Tanabata, and have one dinner in this hotel. We did love this hotel and their staff, only one felt a little Disappointed is thier dinner, but we still plan coming again. さらに表示

Memorable stay. Easy access from JR station with subway transfer. Located right on main street (which is not big, close to restaurants and shops. Comfortable room that is transformed from living to bedroom each evening by the staff. Breakfast is traditional Japanese style that tastes quite alright (not superb) and is filling. Room has water kettle that staff ensures water is always warm in case guests want to make Tea. Big plus is the full sized bathroom, making it convenient to stay in a ryokan. Bathing area and toilet are separated and both are newly renovated. Only drawback would be noises from the street, as our room faced the main street, but these noises died down as it got late, so it wasn't that much of a nuisance. My family and I enjoyed our stay in Kamogawakan Ryokan. This ryokan is centrally located but you feel like you have been taken back in the old days. 2 minutes walk to Pontocho narrow alley. Nikishi market is also nearby. This ryokan is a must try. さらに表示

Less than 15 minutes by taxi from Kyoto main train station, cost about 1500 yen. The rooms are very spacious and the location is great as you are right accross the river from Gion and Pontocho. Walking distance to Nishiki market and it's also close to the train station and bus station. Convenient shop (Lawson) is just across the road and Starbucks is few doors away. さらに表示

Had indicated travelling with a toddler. However everything was chargeable including an extra towel for the child and an extra an extra pillow cover/ toothbrush set. Generally it’s ok, staff is so -so but furniture were worn out with cracks and chips. Onsen was not really well maintained and had mould so we didn’t use it. Overall, u get what u pay. $250 because it’s not a high end ryokan. さらに表示

Found this ryokan near to Sanjo station, which is a strategic location for tourists. We booked 2 tatami rooms for 4 of us and the room is spacious. We appreciate the meals, Kaiseki dinner & breakfast. They are more like art than food. Also not to forget about the Onsen. Staffs are helpful & polite. Recommended! さらに表示

This was our first time at a ryokan and we enjoyed the traditional accommodation experience. The location was perfect, right by Kamo River, in which we enjoyed spending our breezy evening relaxing very much. We found the reception staff to be nice, but they could have provided us more information on this type of accommodation of what to dos/ don'ts, a bit of guidance on the facilities on the premise. The rooms are large and clean. It is not as clean as other hotels that we stayed in Japan, but perhaps this is normal for this type of accommodation. The traditional Kaiseki dinner and breakfast were were delicious, and we wish they provided more information, introduction of each course of the meal, or how should we eat them as we never had any of these before and not sure half of the time what we were eating (and how to pair some of the things on the plates). We read the reviews and some guests were served tea and cookies upon check-in, but unfortunately we did not receive that service. さらに表示

It is our 1st experience to stay at Ryokan & it is beyond our expectation. It is clean & tidy and so comfortable to sleep with tatami style especially if you had back pain after long walks haha. The staff are friendly & very helpful to give any info where to go, where to eat & how to deliver luggage to other city. The service is EXCELLENT, we arrived early at the ryokan before check-in so we kept our luggage at the concierge and when we arrived back to the hotel we found our luggage are ready in our room (it's a WOW experience). Also we got the mattress were set up when we arrived from our dinner. EXCELLENT! Surely will stay here again once we visit Kyoto again. Arigatou-gozaimasu. さらに表示

the hotel lobby had a funny unpleasant smell and the room door was very old school and they require you to leave the key at the front desk as you leave the hotel. other than these, the overall experience was great. the Room turnover was amazing and very discreet. We stayed at Kamogawakan for our last night in Kyoto. After running around to various sightseeing places for the past week, our stay at the ryokan was perfect for kicking back and relaxing. The onsen, though public, was empty when we used it, maybe because we visited it after dinner. It was comfortable and a good experience overall. Our stay included the 12-course kaiseki dinner and breakfast. The food was superb and presentation amazing! We enjoyed everything we ate. The bedding in the traditional family rooms were also comfortable and the room size reasonable, with plenty of space for walking around even with the bedding unrolled and for luggage.
