Pros- Good food, very close proximity to the Snow monkey park, Nice option of a private bath. Cons- a bit difficult to reach the ryokan hotel in winter time from other stations /limited travel options as there is only one timing a day by Nagaden bus Abit of an accident falling wearing the hotel 's snow boots into the hotel lobby, the staff should have either brought my own boots to the seating area outside to change into first or have cabinet/area outside to store the guests' own shoes/boots instead of ushering the guest inside to change.because the snow boots were wet from snow, it is very slippery on the smooth flooring. さらに表示

We wanted the full Japanese experience and were very pleased. We enjoyed a beautiful dinner and breakfast, a private bath, and a swim in the pool. The hotel is a short walk to snow monkeys. A relaxing and tranquil stay. さらに表示

Staffs are very helpful and service was perfect! Breakfast was very good! The onsen is small but still I like the coziness of this hotel, price is a bit steep though! Thank you all the staffs from Senjukaku, we really grateful for the free shuttle pickup from the train station, the arrangement of shuttle to the nearby restaurant for dinner and the best ever breakfast! I have used this hotel several times. The same bad service continues with the hotel refusing to pick up guests at the train station after 6 pm. The hotel also refuses to take guests to the train station after 12 noon. So your high price room means the hotel refuses to help you get to/from the place. The restaurant closes at 7 pm- much too early and not acceptable. The thinking is typical of places in Japan that have high opinions of themselves but actually offer poor service. For the next trip to Monkey Park we will stay somewhere else. さらに表示

A really great experience. You are immersed in Japanese culture from the traditional clothes, rooms and food. Staff are very helpful and friendly and the food was superb. The outlook is just beautiful. We went in winter to everything was dappled with snow. So beautiful. さらに表示

This hotel is on the way to the Jigodakuni Mountain to watch the snow monkey. It is along the way from the bus stop where you have to alight when coming from Nagano station. The onsen is very comfortable, so as other facilities like the lounge and swim pool and also the staffs are very nice to us. さらに表示

Location is among the closest you can do to the Snow Monkey Onsen park, (20m by walk on a nice hiking trail), the Hotel itself is lovely and well maintained with nice food and extremely professional staff. Although we had not mentioned our arrival time and were planning to hike to the Hotel from the local train station, one driver was at the train station and literally came to us asking if we were called by (our names) as we arrived. さらに表示

Lovely staff and a great place to stay for visiting the monkey park. However is much more of a tourist hotel than we were expecting. It felt a bit dated and the set menu meal was a bit underwhelming. Some courses were great (grilling and hot pot) while others didn't appear to be freshly prepared and of a standard I would expect for the high price. In hindsight I would've had dinner there one night to have the experience and gone to the nearby Farmhouse for dinner on the other night. The private onsen was worth paying the additional fee just to have this outdoor bath experience. Would recommend 2 nights max as there is little to do here but was glad we stayed so close to the monkey park. さらに表示
