On the whole, the hotel was good in general. If you are going by bus, the bus actually stops right in front of the hotel, however, on departure, make sure you wait at the bus stop at least 10min before schedule, we were there 5min earlier and still missed the bus. さらに表示

Location is a bit far, better rent a car and drive to the hotel, can also appreciate the scenic environment along the way when driving. The Japan style room is a bit old, but still nice to stay. 2 indoor baths and the famous Sen-nin Boru is just right in front of the hotel. Definitely need to try the outdoor bath, under the perfect scenery. The dinner and breakfast are served in traditional Japanese style, wonderful experience, nice ingredient, great taste. Hotel staff can speak little bit of English, but OK in basic communications. They also provide English info sheet for tourist to understand the rules of the usage of the hot bath, worry-free!!! さらに表示

This is the worst staying experience in our trip to Japan. We have been driving for 3hrs to this location, when we reached around 8:30pm, the front desk told me they sent me an email 30mins ago telling me since I haven't check in before 6pm, my room was cancelled and there won't be any refund, but it's not written on the website or anywhere!! After I insist on staying, we waited 30mins without anyone attending us, offering us a drink or a seat, before they can arrange a room for us. The room is not fantastic as the pictures, worst part is the toilet is very dusty and smells very bad!! The staffs are not friendly. Overall, very bad staying experience. さらに表示

Great experience from the start to the end. Food was great and staff was very helpful. After 10 days trying different Ryokans and hotels this one was the best of them all. Even though the price for the Luxury room with Private Onsen was a little steep, it was well worth it. さらに表示

Shuttle bus is so convenient,you can come back after the public bus end. There is hot spring just near by the river,so I think no one will enjoy the hot spring in hotel. さらに表示

Our Japanese room was dated, but overall very clean and very very spacious. Hotel Onsen was also clean and quiet. Excellent Kaiseki Breakfast and Dinner. Two minutes away from Public River Onsen, which was not available on the day of our arrival. It was luckily opened the following day. Although advised to wear swimsuits as it’s public, locals didnt care and stripped naked. Free shuttle to Kumano Taisha. Limited Public transport(bus) daily so plan and time your travel carefully さらに表示
