This is a little and charming place close to Lake Ashi. Lots of activities to enjoy with the kids. The little Italian restaurant was a hit with the kids after a couple of weeks of Japanese food. The manager is a wonderful man, very kind and hospitable. He drove us around and went out of his way to help us, with his limited english and our even more limited Japanese. If you travel light, you can get here from Odawara using the Hakone Tonzan train, transfer to the cable card and then the ropeway which takes you to Togendai.
