先從結論開始：近奧之院、料理好吃、英文好、乾淨有系統、物有所值。 離奧之院最近的宿坊之一，而奧之院night tour（由僧人日文、英文導覽）是惠光院的一大特色（也是本次選惠光院最大理由）。 奧之院離大門、壇上伽藍有一段距離，伽藍附近有較多商家。不過周圍有無商家其實個人認為並沒有影響。因為院內提供料理其實很有飽足感，晚上並不會餓，早上6點半如要參加早課，早睡早起剛剛好。 料理好吃（真心覺得好吃，每種都好吃到覺得怎樣可以把青菜豆腐煮這麼好吃），擺盤不是眾宿坊中第一講究（但是中上），雖沒機會比較傳說中的第一名，但價格也不是第一高貴，覺得頗公道。 師父們英文非常好，有任何疑問無需擔心盡可詢問。 院內各處整潔有序、各房皆可看到庭院，更添風趣。 無門禁、免費停車位。澡堂時間至22點（參加night tour者可至23點），早睡才能早起參加早課，所以不覺有影響。 抄經是在各自房內自己練習，有別於其他宿坊會有人一旁指導，但也因此無需收費。阿字觀沒有體驗，詳細不明。 宿坊歷史上便是提供來訪者住宿的設施，對於接待來賓、打理房務清潔、供膳自是熟來生巧，人跟環境給的氣氛感覺類似住在（附寺院的）旅舍。僧人們整天除了佛法修行外，早上備膳供膳、清理打掃、迎賓導覽、晚上備膳供膳....一整天忙進忙出。而惠光院本身讓人感覺相當有經驗跟規模的宿坊。 這次只待短短一天，而且只待一間感想可能欠準，但覺得想嘗試宿坊的朋友，惠光院絕不會讓人失望，希望更多體驗佛寺氛圍、和僧人有更多互動的，試試更小的宿坊也許會不錯。 さらに表示

奥の院からすぐ近くで、バス停からもすぐでした。精進料理も食べ応えがあり、肉や魚がなくても満足です（ちょっと濃口でしたが）。部屋はトイレとお風呂付を選んだのですが、あまり使用されていないのか、少し清掃不足感がありましたが、とても良い設備でした。宿泊者には無料の瞑想体験に参加しましたが、これはちょっとがっかりで、数字を１から10まで呼吸通り30分間数えるだけで、瞑想とは何かやもう少し踏み込んだ体験がしたかったです。 朝のお勤めと護摩祈祷（毘沙門天）は、合計1時間も正座して、足がしびれました（苦笑） さらに表示

Excellent temple stay experience, able to experience free meditation, scripture copying services. The food is above average and very nicely presented. It didn’t stand up to top shojin ryori but with price of stay and two meals, it was worth it. The temple is a fair way walk from other sights except okunoin. With this distance, it was definitely worth it getting koyasan world heritage ticket. I don’t feel this was need to join the night tour, it was just as easy hiring an audio guide and explore yourselves. It is worth making two visits to okunoin, one at night and one during the day. It is a magical feeling at night and during the day to closely examine the headstones and visit hall of lanterns etc. さらに表示

Because of the cost we only stayed one night. It was an experience that we’ll remember for a long time. We highly recommend the night time cemetery tour. There is so much to see and it’s a lovely chilled-out town; we would have liked to stay longer and would recommend 1 night in a temple then a couple of nights elsewhere. さらに表示

Very expensive 'hotel', but we really wanted to try this stay. Staff is OK but not very warm. We tried the meditation session, the cemetery walk, the morning ceremony and fire ceremony... all very interesting. Nice dinner and breakfast served in room, but would be interesting to get a quick description of what is in our plates! さらに表示

Ekoin felt a little more touristy than the other accommodation I stayed at whilst at Koyasan. They were well-run, with the staff speaking good English and sufficient activities to keep the tourist occupied. There were also many people who stayed at the accommodation while we were there. Consequently, I felt that the staff was less personable and the activities they conducted were too crowded for the experience. What also marred the experience (but not the accommodation's fault) was how some tourists would take photos during the ceremony (which is rather rude) or behave in a manner not befitting of a religious accommodation. As I write this review, I hope that future guests would be respectful and appreciate the accommodation and its surroundings. さらに表示

We had a wonderful time staying here. The monks were extremely welcoming and the food was fanstastic. It was ver special and educational to be involved in morning prayer and the fire ceremony and we got a lot out of the meditation session. The highlight was the cemetery tour - don't forget to book this in advance. You need to be aware there are no private washing facilities and if you are given a room next to a noise family there is little soundproofing. さらに表示

It takes time to get to Koyasan and there is so much to see that it is probably worth staying a couple of nights which would give you more time to absorb the atmosphere of the place as well as visit all the religious sites. The rooms are much more modern than I had expected and vegetarian food was excellent plus the fire ceremony was incredibly atmospheric. さらに表示

This accommodation was not quite what these two travelers with limited mobility expected, though we managed to adapt and accept. The biggest disappointment was the lack of even just basic instructions of the electrical batth, shower and onsen controls which would have let us enjoy those facilities to their full extent. Similarly, simple instructions on the heater would have made our stay so much more comfortable during the cold days of our short stay in Koyasan. But we enjoyed the food though a little more variety could have pleased my wife more, but then this was advertised sa a monastery... Loved everything about my 2 night stay here. I wasn’t in a rush so decided to stay for 2 nights. The breakfast and dinner was so delicious. It snowed when I was there and it was beautiful! The monks here speak good English, no issues with communicating. The futon was soft and comfortable - didn’t feel like I was sleeping on the floor. Highly recommended and would love to return. さらに表示

Recommended by some friends I booked a night for myself and it was just perfect. The attention was incredible, all ran very smooth, more than a few activities inside the temple. The facilities are modern and comfortable. Food was generous and they even give you a little souvenir to take home. I would have stayed another night if I could さらに表示

I would definitely recommend this place. Very nice rooms and atmosphere. Good food. And of course it's in a prime location. The morning prayers and fire ceremony were very moving and interesting. I highly recommend participating. My only complaint was that my friends and I were forgotten about during the dinner, so we were just left in the dining room alone for an hour not sure what to do, and without any beverages being served. We didn't speak the language very well, so eventually we just left and went back to our rooms. さらに表示

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! The grounds were beautiful and the whole place was breathtaking. Worth every cent, even though I didn't like the food that much. The cafe near the cemetery makes a fantastic chicken curry if you're hankering for some meat. Can't recommend the experience enough! さらに表示
