Clean and nice hostel in great location close to Takayama JR Station. We were in the Japanese Tatami room with private bath. The bath is small but efficient. The shared kitchen is quite handy for breakfast. さらに表示

The hotel is very close to station, just across the street. The hotel is very cozy with kitchen and all kitchenware you may need. It was better than what I expected and actual place look better than the photos from the net! I booked private room so it was a very nice and private stay here. The hotel also have yukata and bicycle for rent. Recommended to bicycling around the city here, very nice👍 さらに表示

The hostel is located near to the train and bus station. It provides free umbrellas and shoe dryer during rainy days. The room was big and spacious. The toilet is clean! They have a kitchen for you to cook and tables and sofa area for you to eat and chit chat. The staffs are wonderfully friendly and helpful さらに表示

When we arrived k house it was too early for check in, the staff keep our bags for free. then we came back after 15:00,their staff was so friendly and helpful.it was a really warm welcome for us.She gave us any information that we might need. The lobby is so beautiful with traditional atmosphere,kitchen Is very clean and organized,you don’t need to wait for cook when a kitchen has two sinks,two ovens and two fridges. The bed is very comfy with “real” mattress,I had really good sleep there. I would highly recommend k house for travelers who has budget but also wanna have a good stay.👍👍👍 さらに表示

Everything is made so easy for us in there- they even have a handle at the back of each chair, free umbrellas for use when needed etc. You’ll never feel lost or confused in there as everything is so clear and organized. Very clean common area. Nice staffs. Very close to station. We both felt itchy on our whole body on the tatami/ the room in general on the first night, not quite sure if it’s the dirt, dusk or the dry weather. It is near JR/Bus Station in Takayama. We take about 5 mins walk to Hostel. It is a small hostel and my room (Japanese style) for 3 persons is small too. After putting the mattress, there isn't enough space for us to open a big baggage. We have toilet and bath in our room but it is tiny too. If you are more than 5'6" height, I think it is not easy for you to take a bath with the small bathtub. Positive - they have a small kitchen and the facilities are good with all required cooking tools, microwave oven and heating oven. The staffs are friendly always with smile. さらに表示

Fantastic for a hostel stay, spacious and clean room (double deluxe). Toilet is a little on the small side but this is fairly common in Japan. Toiletries and amenities are provided (including hair dryer). Easy walk to and from the bus centre. Many good dining options in the vicinity (the helpful staff will provide you a list of recommendations upon check in). Fairly convenient for walking around town too. There is a lift in the hostel, but you do need to go up a flight of stairs to level 2 for check in (no lifts from 1st to 2nd floor) - people with accessibility issues or very heavy luggage need to take note. さらに表示

I was really tired travelling from Hokkaido, Kyoto and Osaka. When I check in K house oasis, i didn’t have any plan as to where to go. Ms Geak Sie explains where to eat and sightseeing. She even booked our day tour to Shirakawago. Such awesome services. Hostel is clean. I recommend it if you come Takayama. Very near JR train station. さらに表示

K’s Hostel was an amazing place to stay. Everything was fantastic. The atmosphere, with the shared living room, kitchen and the equipment we could use. Free coffee in the morning. Bicycles to rent and washing machine to use both for a small price. The cleaneliness of the private and shared spaces. The helpfulness of the staff members. Tatami room is a good way to experience Japanese culture and we didn't regret choosing it. The only thing to know before booking this hostel is you have to carry your luggages to the 1st level, elevator only can access to the rooms, but staff are very willing to help taking your luggages if you really can't take them. Staff are also very friendly and like to share places to visit in Takayama. They offer kitchen areas with every utensils you need and cozy reading areas, wish I could stay few more days in Takayama in this hostel but I only got time for only a night, will definitely come visit again! さらに表示

The room is clean and quiet, the bed space is an interesting area with all necessary facilities within. The kitchen and common area are just lovely as well. The stafg are friendly and helpful, offering to help with my luggage since reception is on 2F and it is stairs up only. Location is super close to the station, near a couple of great food places but has tad distance from the main places of interest. It's all within walking distance however, not a big problem. A nice 10-minute stroll to the morning markets. 5 minutes if you walk briskly. The bathroom/showers are not too many during peak season. It might be a queue for it during full house season. Pro: Japanese style interior, shoes off at the door. Has complete kitchen. Our Japanese room had great insulation. Futon mattress is comfortable. Good experience to try Japanese style room. Clean room with complete amenities. Private toilet and bathroom is good and clean. Has an elevator from the lobby to the rooms upstairs. Near to bus and train station, Family mart. Con: to go to lobby, need to take 1 flight of stairs, precaution for those with mobility issues. Staffs can help with your luggages Futon is in the cupboard.Need to lay our futon by yourselves. さらに表示

K's House Takayama Oasis is an excellent hostel. Very close to rail / bus station. The room is clean and comfortable, the staffs are very kind and helpful. Facilities are also very good, the kitchen is free to use, washing machine costs only 300 Japanese Yen. さらに表示

The location of the hostel is convenient. It just takes you 3 minutes to go to JR station or the bus terminus. Staff are nice and all of them speak fluent English, so you will encounter no communication difficulties during your stay in the hostel. Room and bathroom are clean. さらに表示
