予約無しでも空いてあれば貸し切り風呂が利用出来るのがとても良かったです。 洗い場が２つあり、脱衣場もとても綺麗です。 部屋でお食事が頂けるのも良かったです。 湯畑まで徒歩５分も掛からず、三連休中にリーズナブルで宿泊出来て満足です。 さらに表示

夫の「温泉らしい旅館に泊まりたい」とのリクエストでこちらに一泊させて頂きました。 老舗だと古びていないか心配ですが、こちらは上手にリニューアルされていて、お部屋に最近見かけない懐かしい感じの鏡台が置いてありながらも、清潔で快適でした。そんなお部屋で頂けるお夕食・朝食も、美味しく量もちょうど良かったです。ロビーにある箪笥に無料で借りられる浴衣があり、帯との組み合わせを考えるのも楽しめました。 こちらのお湯も一般的な温泉より温度は高いながら気持ちよく朝晩2回頂きましたが、近くに日帰り入浴施設『大滝乃湯』があり〝合わせ湯〟も楽しめ、またその先の『草津熱帯圏』の多くの動物たちが想定外に可愛く癒されました。 さらに表示

良い点: 地蔵の湯が真隣にあり、湯畑までも徒歩数分の為ローケーションが良い。 残念な点: 子供連れへの配慮がない （食器/椅子/スリッパ/貸し出し用の草履/浴衣など）　 お食事のお肉は硬くて残念だった。 遅いwifi 男性スタッフの対応 広い駐車場スペースがあるにもかかわらず鍵を預けなくてはいけない 旅館といったおもてなしに期待せず、食事付きで寝泊まりできればよいと割り切れば問題なし。 さらに表示

It was raining cum snowing when we the Kusatsu bus terminal so we decided to take taxi. 730yen for a trip. I guess that is the minimum charged. We stayed on second floor, with lift, facing road with construction opposite. Not bothering as no active activity there. Both dinner and breakfast were superb. We were served in private room. The in house onsen has both public and private. Both are rather small. The water temperature is hotter than the usual onsen we went. There is a public onsen and footbath just besides the ryokan. Take note of the opening hours as we wanted to try in the morning but realised it was not open yet. The ryokan is just a short walk to yubatake. Overall a pleasant stay. さらに表示

We both really enjoyed the stay as this place has awesome Japanese feel with tatami, and inbuilt onsen that you can enjoy any time of the day. Inside the private onsen there is a big window that you can enjoy the entire snow view! The other experience we loved was the traditional dinner and breakfast in room on the tatami! Close to Kusatsu Onsen Bus Station and Yubatake. We enjoyed the excellent service, breakfast and dinner served in the room and cosy onsen on ground floor. We thank Tamura-san and staff for their hospitality and efforts to make our stay even more memorable in beautiful Kusatsu. さらに表示

The onsen is within a short walk of the famous Yubatake and offers very clean and comfortable rooms with private baths available for no extra costs! The meals (we had both the dinner and breakfast) were spectacular and worth every yen. In the winter, it was much more comfortable to eat at the ryokan than to venture outside looking for room at the local restaurants. You can even try the free public bath next door to Tamura, Jizo no Yu, if the bath at Tamura is occupied. We really enjoyed our stay here. さらに表示

There’s a steep downward path to the hotel, with the ice road, really need to be careful walking with your luggage, but this is just a small cons compared to how good that is for the onsen there, oh, they don’t accept credit card too, so, get the cash ready if you choose to pay at the hotel like me さらに表示

We loved this small Ryokan. The value for what you pay is well worth it... The rooms were a nice size and the Onsens we perfect. I recommend getting the Breakfast and Dinner options because its worth it and it really brings the whole experience of staying in a Ryokan. The staff was wonderful and really make you feel at home. I highly recommend you come here if you want that Ryokan experiance on a budget. さらに表示

Very comfortable staying here. Room and food are great. There are small onsen in ryokan including 2 private available. The location is in walking distance from bus station, however you have to walk pass slope. Opposite to ryokan is under construction site, they only work during the day, no noise at night. さらに表示

This is a lovely, small ryokan. I opted to have breakfast only, which was served in my room and consisted of salmon, rice, soft boiled egg, miso soup, vegetables and various pickles. There are separate baths for each gender and two private baths, one of which I used in the morning as the sun streamed in - a very relaxing experience. The ryokan is close to the centre of Kusatsu but I'd recommend a taxi from the bus station if you have heavy bags, as Kusatsu has steep hills. The staff were all helpful and very understanding of my limited Japanese! さらに表示

other than the fact that the front desk lady trying to find my name for my reservation was confused, the stay was nice. the food was great. the onsen was fabulous! they even have 2 private onsens you can use without reservation for maximum 40 minutes! highly recommend!! さらに表示

The hotel is near Chizo no yu, you can following the sign to Chizo no yu and the hotel is there. It's not far from the bus station. There is 1 private onsen for women and 1 for men, must try. さらに表示

It's only 5 minutes walk to yubatake, dinner meal was not reasonable price. I ever been ryokan at Takayama price are similar but the food so fabulous both breakfast and dinner. さらに表示
