すごく良い
여인숙 と書いている人もいます。気持ちは分からないでもないですが、文化的な背景を考えると、そうではないと言いたいです。 宿の門が11〜16時まで閉まってしまうのは、その間荷物を預けようにも一切コンタクトが取れないので不都合以外の何物でもありませんでした。 それ以外は交通の便も悪くはないですし、周りにスーパーもあります。部屋は清潔に保たれていますし、アメニティはこだわりが感じられます。 日本人のニーズと外国の方々のニーズを上手く折り合いをつけて今の形に至っているのだろうなと思われます。 コスト的には若干高いかとも思われますが、京の雰囲気を味わうには良い旅館だと思います。 さらに表示

This machiya was just lovely! We had a great stay there with the friendliest staff, cozy room, and delicious breakfast. The bath facilities were shared, but that wasn't a problem since people don't use it for too long anyway. さらに表示

The staff was so gracious and helpful. Location was off of a main bus route we were using to get around town so it was easy to get to. Facilities were beautiful and clean. Tip if you’re staying, don’t go with the first room on the bottom floor if you have a choice. Street noises are very audible. We booked that room and were fine but I’m a heavy sleeper. さらに表示

Perfect stay in a traditional Japanese lodging. Although the bathroom facilities were shared we never had to wait for a shower. The cedar tub is amazing and lovely to relax in after a long day sightseeing. The staff were excellent, helpful, courteous and were able to make recommendations when we had questions. If you have to charge a lot of devices though, bring an extension as outlets are limited. A very small thing and somewhat expected in a traditional property. Would definitely stay here again. さらに表示

This place is so cute. Check in was at 4pm. Our little room had the garden view. Our host was so wonderful, she offered to set up the bed as we didn’t know how. The shared bathroom had a wonderful wooden Japanese soaking tub that made us feel like we were staying in a spa. There’s only 4 rooms total so even though the walls are paper thin in this traditional inn, there were barely any voices heard. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. さらに表示

I stayed in the room with the Japanese garden view and sprung for the breakfast option. If you're going for a true Japanese experience, there isn't much better than waking up in a futon mat, putting on a yukata, walking across a tatami floor, sliding open a set of paper doors to view a private-ish garden as the sun rises, brewing a pot of green tea, then hearing a knock on the door ... breakfast (beautiful and delicious), which is served on a legless table/chair set in your room. Very short (less than 10 minute) walk to several bus stops, convenience stores, coin laundromat, grocery store, pachinko casino. Short (less than 30 minute) walk to Nijo Castle, Kyoto Imperial Palace, and Kyoto International Manga Museum (if you're a bit of a dork like me). Long (45+ minutes) walk to Gion and Yasaka Shrine. Strolling through the back streets during this walk really gave me a feel for modern Japan. When you start seeing girls in kimonos you've reached Gion. さらに表示

The beds are futons laid on the floor, which take some assembly and are ~twin size but are still comfortable for sleeping. The building is an old-style machiya, so the walls don't keep sound or temperature out that well. When I stayed, the in-room heater was adequate and the other guests were quiet. Great place to stay for the experience and for the price. ~10 minute walk from Nijo-jo. Shared bath/toilets, and the bath needs to be reserved in hour-long slots, with families bathing together (I went to the public bath). さらに表示

We cannot enter until 16:00, but when we arrived, the woman who received us was very kind and nice. We got some laughs with her!! The room was absolutely nice, clean, and carefuly prepared. We ate the japanese breakfast and it was very good as well. Those days here were perfect. さらに表示
