一人での滞在には大きすぎるほどのお部屋でしたが、トイレが汲み取り式のようなにおいがしたので使いたくありませんでした。２階にあるお風呂は照明が暗く、あまり気持ちよくなかったので朝、１階にあるお風呂に入りました。
ロビーは宇治川が見えて素敵な雰囲気でした。
チェックインの前に到着したので荷物を預かってもらい助かりました。
チェックアウトの後に宇治駅まで送って頂いたので助かりました。
宇治にはあまりホテルが多くないのでおそらく比較的良いホテルに泊まったのだとは思いますが、前泊したホテルがお値段も安くとてもいいホテルでしたので少し辛口の意見かも知れませんが、お部屋の割りに値段が高く感じました。トイレとお風呂に関しては特にがっかりしたので改善されると良いと思います。それが改善されればまた泊まるかもしれません。 さらに表示

あやぶまれた天候も大崩れすることなく，冬の宇治を満喫することができました。お部屋は，思ってたとおり清潔で，思ってた以上に景色がよかったです・・・むしろ雪なんて降ってたら，どれだけよろしかったことか。 さらに表示

食が細くなっているので、量の少ないコースの夕食を頂いたのですが、それでも十分多かった。若い人はステーキもあり十分な量の食事ができます。食事はおいしいです さらに表示

旅館から宇治駅までのシャトルバスもあって非常に便利。平等院鳳凰堂まですぐ。旅館のスタッフは皆さん親切でした。
残念な点は11月利用でしたか部屋に蚊が二匹ほど飛んでいたので始末するのに梃子摺りました、あとトイレの匂いが気になったのが残念です。 さらに表示

Absolutely loved our stay here. Felt very welcome at check in, allowing us to leave our bags prior to our room being ready (after check out too!) This was our favorite night of 10 traveling japan because we loved Uji town so much. Plenty of restaurant choices and shops, with a focus on Green Tea flavored everything! The rooms were very spacious and comfortable, with nice river views. Great onsen and robes for our use. Favorite part of our entire trip was eating the traditional breakfast in our robes the next morning. Delicious and classy! Would stay again and again! さらに表示

The negative way is the location is not convenient and there is only one public spa in 1/f
But if you need to go outside in the morning, you can reserve the bus for going to JR station.

The room is clean and comfortable with private onsen in our room which was wonderful. Great river view but quite unfortunate that some work was going on at the river so during the day it was quite noisy but come night time very peaceful. Overall we had a good and relaxing stay at this Ryokan! さらに表示

This hotel was amazing, with japanese style rooms, view on the beautiful river, great baths, and helpful staff. The only regret I had is that is is a little difficult to access by public transportation, but shuttle from the hotel or Taxi (700JPY) do the job. It was such a good experience, I would definitely go again if I am staying around Uji next time. さらに表示

Location is near the famous byodoin temple, but far from train station. Can take a taxi to train station for abt 600yen. Great hotel with nice bath. Do note the check-in and checkout timings are different from the norm at 4pm and 10am. さらに表示

First the bad thing, the location isn't that great. It's about a 15 minute walk from the 2 train stations, so if you are carrying your luggage, just take a cab for about 600 Yen.
However, the rooms are beautiful and spacious, they provide you complimentary water and green tea snacks everyday. The futon that you sleep on is extremely comfortable.
Do book the Japanese breakfast and the Kiseki meal, they are really really good. Just remember to book early so that you won't be disappointed. Given that Uji is quite dead at night, you might want to book the Kiseki dinner.
Great place to stay if you decide to stay in Uji for a night or two. さらに表示

The ryokan I'd foreigner friendly and the view of the Uji River is awesome. The kiseki dinner is great but do book it early at least 2 days in advance.
They also have a Japanese breakfast which you will need to book before hand.
If there is any criticism it's the location. It is a far walk from the Uji Stations but there is a shuttle nus that brings you out. Just ask the reception for advice. さらに表示

Staff was excellent and interacted with a male staff who lived in US, and can speak very good English, 15 min walk to the JR train station, Great view facing the Uji River, breakfast was accommodating as I wanted continental breakfast instead of Japanese breakfast on the second day (inform them before 5pm the day before), shuttle bus was handy, No complaints at all, Excellent!!!! さらに表示

This is my second time to stay in this hotel on my hubby's birthday which I was really having a great time.The hotel knew about my surprise celebration plan and they are very helpful on preparation,even offer us a bottle of Champagne to thank us for coming back.
