In the mountains and great views. A ski in ski out and several other ski areas within 20-30 minute drive. Large rooms. Good breakfast and dinner... unless you don't like Japanese food. But there was enough to eat and that was terrific. The Onsen (hot water baths) were of three choices. Men only, women only or shared (but must wear a swim suit). I selected this mountain resort hoping to use the open o'furo. But would learn once I check in that the outdoor o'furo is only available to resort guest between 13:00-18:00
The rest of the hotel's spa's located within the resort. Are closed between 23:59-05:30.
