Really fantastic stay in an authentic feeling Japanese Inn. Nice little room on a pleasant Street in the nicest area of kyoto for tourists. The owner was very helpful and even went out of his way to provide details for late checking, as I was flying into Japan quite late. さらに表示

Excellent! We stayed for 1 night in February and I must say this was fantastic value. It is a small inn that looks to be family run but it is the perfect combination of traditional Japanese charm and modern amenities. The exterior is very zen looking and the treat is quiet and lined with beautiful traditional houses. The street itself is very quiet but it is a stones throw away from the river and the main area of Gion where there are a vast array of restaurants and bars! We even saw a real Geisha in this area on our first night! The rooms themselves are quite small but the perfect size for a couple(there is one larger room downstairs however which is believe is the more deluxe room). They are very traditional with tatimi mat flooring, sliding windows and floor bedding. The bedding was extremely comfortable - more comfortable than western bedding I think. There isn't very much in the room besides the bedding, a small coffee table etc but I quite liked the minimalistic style - very Japanese. This is predominantly run by one man who we presumed to be the owner. He was extremely gracious and polite. His english is limited however, but he tried his best to assist us in any way. He pointed us in the direction of an excellent ramen restaurant! The toilets and showerooms downstairs are also very clean and modern. PS. There are two pet cats. For us this was a plus, however, if you're allergic maybe it's a no go! さらに表示

Was a nice stay (for value) until the angry man at the reception acted very rudely. He screamed at me and banged the clock as I was still inside the hostel at 10.15am while check out time is 10.00am. Sure it was my fault for remembering the check out time wrongly (I thought it was 11am), theres no need to scream and bang the clock. Very unnecesary, even tho i apologised many times for being 15min late. He litterally screamed 'OUT!!!' as he banged the clock in the living room :( さらに表示

Generally a great place to stay. The walls are a bit thin, so depending on who the other guests are, can be loud even after curfew. Rooms are all on second floor, and it's a narrow staircase. The host was generous enough to haul our luggage up and down when checked in/out, though we felt bad since it was kind of heavy. The bathroom is very spacious, 2 large shower stalls, one has a bathtub in it. The only problem is that if you're showering by yourself, you pretty much lock up both the shower stalls since the lock is the door to the stalls, not the shower itself. Depending on how many girls are staying and what time they wake up, it can be crowded at the sinks in the morning. Also, we had two instances during our 5-night stay where the wifi didn't work on all our phones, but our iPad worked. After some hours, it did work. The best part is that they have two cats, Mii and Tama. They're not the friendliest cats ever but they don't mind strangers :) さらに表示

The host is very eager to help although he is a quiet man. The place is located in an alley between sanjo and shijo of Gion where Keihan Gion-shijo/sanjo station, subway sanjo station, Kyoto city bus stop all in walking distance. The place has some distance to the main shopping street so it's quiet however quite dark if you return late, better to take the torch provided in the room with you. There are male and female toilets on G/F and one toilet on 1/F. The male and female bathrooms both located on G/F. Basically no need to wait for long to take a shower when the place is full. We had traditional Japanese room which was really nice, there is a beautiful inner yard which was a plus. Very closed to Yasaka Shrine, and other popular sights. The minus is that the shower seemed to be a little dirty and cold water from the sink. I personally did not like the general rules of ryokan- less privacy and many 'no's. But the price was very good and location is great, would recommend to backpackers! さらに表示

地點就在花見小路附近, 走過去四條商店街約10分鐘。 但有一個非常大的問題是, 我們住的房間在洗手間旁邊, 基本上我只有3AM-6AM是能睡著的, 其他時間都會被非常吵的樓上腳步聽/使用洗手間的聲音/其他人聊天的聲音吵得睡不著。 整體來講很舊, 但清潔度尚可。 主人不算十分有善, 但基本的東西他還是會提供。 總的來說, 如果你是有聲音會睡不著的類型, 那你跟本不用考慮, 否之, 也不失為一個京都平價而且地點OK的地方。 さらに表示

交通非常方便，坐地鐵或阪神鐵路均可到達，步行大概10分鐘左右。巴士可於知恩院站下車，步行不用五分鐘。 佈置十分日式，住得十分舒適，老闆每天早上清潔打掃，十分乾淨。 很好的住宿體驗 さらに表示
