Magome Chaya is located in the center of Magome town, so the location is perfect. It is a Minshuku (family inn) with Japanese style rooms. The kitchen is accessible 24 hrs. Toilets/bathrooms are shared but clean all the time. The Japanese dinner was awesome. I highly recommend this place. :) さらに表示

We traveled to Magome between Christmas and New Years, so we expected it to be chilly. However, the entire building was frigid. The tiny heater in our room barely kept it warm at night, while all shared spaces were as cold as it was outside. We decided to leave a day early, forfeiting what we paid for the final night. Learned the hard way that there is little reason to stay in Magome when Nakastsugawa is a quick and easy bus ride away. さらに表示

If you expect a traditional western hotel, this is not the place for you, If you want the ryokan (traditional old style Japanese houses) you are going to get in love of this place. Beautiful, Japanese style, in the middle of this little town in the mountains (it's like being in a fairy tale. Marvelous and tasty dinner and breakfast of traditional Japanese food. If your booking doesn't include dinner, get in touch with the guest house (they are going to send you a mail 3 to 7 days before your reservation), and ask for dinner (everything in magome close at 17:00 or 18:00, so it's difficult to get something to eat after that), and the guest house restaurant need reservation (if they have enough food they can accept extra people at the restaurant, but that it's not guaranteed. Shared bathrooms (separated for man and women, but plany capability so you are not going to be making lines and waiting for use them). No beds, you sleep in tatami matrez (that you have to put by yourself. さらに表示

Relaxing and comfortable ryokan experience with friendly English speaking staff. Although bathroom is shared, the cleanliness of the place guarantees comfort. There is also a small kitchen that you can cook instant noodle. We pre-ordered the dinner set which is interesting including raw horse meat and glutinous rice balls but it was rather pricey. The only minor complain is we have to rush to finish our dinner before 7pm as after that the dining area was closed. さらに表示

we enjoyed our stay at this minshuku. It is hostel style accommodation with private Japanese rooms. Great location. Nice two rooms to socialise with friends. My only disappointment was the value of food, especially dinner. It was fine, just a bit too expensive even for the location. Staff very helpful with excellent English. さらに表示

El hotel se encuentra en el centro del pueblo y esto implica una buena subida si llegas en autobús. La habitación en si es grande y los futones son cómodos. Las instalaciones de baños y duchas correctas. El desayuno es típico japonés pero si avisas te pueden preparar un desyuno occidental. Los propietarios son muy amables y se está cómodo. さらに表示

Llegamos y nadie nos había informado que a partir de las 17.00h, no hay nada abierto y en el hostel no sirven nada de cenas, el desayuno es clarísimo y sólo a las 07.30, si viajas con niños notienes ningún margen de horario, con nuestro bebé a parte de hacerle madrugar una barbaridad bajamos a las 07.45h y ya no nos quisieron ni poner un café, tuvimos que desayunar de máquina en la calle.
