Everything is perfect for the family
Love the welcome drink&snacks, the tatami room, the public onsen, the breakfast. The service is 11 out of 10! Willing to help in everything, and to explain on the story of our room (we rested at Katsura room) The room is clean and spacious and private. Couldn’t find any cons here. Recommend! さらに表示

I left my wallet and my stuffs in that ryokan. When I found I forgot stuffs, I was surprised. But the employees tried to contact me to give me back my stuffs. Finally, I got back my stuffs. The clerks, employees and any other staffs are kind and they have warm-heart.

We bring 5 yo kids and 2 yo kids, and they tried to charge additional 2 person, which i need to explain usually below 3 is still consider baby. For those additional charge they don't provide any bed, and for additional bed need to add another (almost) 2000 Yen.
The staff try to accept it even it takes some time to get approval.
All the staff is very helpful and give very clear information.
They also sell souvenir at very reasonable price.
The room is clean, but on certain time (during dinner time), i can smell the cooking smell from my room (dont understand why). Toilet is a bit small, but the room is very big (consider no bed setup)

The hotel also has hot spring bath rooms (one for ladies and one for gentlemen). Both bath rooms have been kept extremely clean and tidy. It is so relaxing to soak in the hot bath after a long day of tour around! さらに表示

We were so happy to arrive the hotel according to those great accomplishment on the web. But our happiness suddenly was ruined by an impatient service from a mid-age male staff who was so impatient to service us for check-in and calling taxi in heaving rainy day. I believe that he couldn't represent all the good service of this well known hotel. But I really didn't agree his attitude to us, the guest from Taiwan. さらに表示

From the moment we arrived we were really taken care of. From the first cup of tea and sweet. Everything was explained well as to when we would eat, bath etc.
