I have very high standard and I know good hotel.. The place was very decent and comfy for Japanese style room. 1 minutes from Meguro River for Cherry Blossom viewing. The owner communicated very well with precise instructions for the key location if you arrive late into Japan. I would go back 100000 percent for the night stay late arrival or long stay for Tokyo sight seeing. Dear Owner the blanket has indecent smell. The rest of the equipments are great. It is very practical to stay here especially when you are in groups. It is very near train station. However, you can only contact the owner through mail. No one will answer your queries immediately when needed. We have booked two rooms because we are all 14 including kids, the owner gave us rooms located at different location! When we booked we booked only a place where we thought we are in just one building, but in reality the two rooms were far from each other. We did not occupy the other room because we have kids. This place is like hell, there's nothing like in the pictures. This place is much far from the words clean,safe. It's so dirty. There are socks on the bed, used glasses and used jeans on the floor So DIRTY!!! さらに表示

Too overpriced. No staff. Not at all clean. I paid for 2 beds, I got only one. My brother and I had to share the bed. Was there for 3 days, no one took the trash out. The whole house, bedsheets, toilet, everything was stinking. Worst experience ever. さらに表示

Unfortunately I stayed for 4 nights here. The first night people came in very late and very loudly, thought maybe it's just the one night.. Next three nights were all just as horrible. Strangers coming and going, people that aren't even stay there coming in and out, sleeping on the floors. No security, no owner or staff member in sight. People showering at 2am with the door open.. The dirty water comes up out of the drain in the shower room. Maybe the private rooms are nicer but I wouldn't ever recommend this to anyone. Not safe, not quiet and not nice. さらに表示

The host doesn't speak English and didn't response well, so we have been waiting for checkin in cold wind for an hour...don't recommend at all, not saying the room is not OK, it's just there are tons of other choices with similar price range. So why bother to stay here? Plus, no lift/escalator in the building so be careful if you have large suitcases~~ さらに表示

The door of room was locked from inside when I arrived. I could not entered the room but stayed outside all night. I mailed to the owner about this situation but got no any reply and refund. Finally I found another hotel. さらに表示

My stay in meguro was very enjoyable! When I first made the reservation I was worried about the reviews but those reviews must have been outdated. The accommodation is very close to the station, less than 5 minutes. It is located on the yamanote line that has trains running till 1am and start at 4:20am. This is very convenient as this train line goes to all the major train stations. When we got to the accommodation there was staff there to help us with our luggage as we requested. The staff are Japanese but they do there best to speak English.... When we saw the room we where very happy. It was very spacious. 2 bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom. It was all private, a fully finished condominium and seemed brand new which is unusual in Tokyo The WiFi was also very fast. The room is very warm and you are free to do what you want. From the description, I thought the place was nearby to the train station but it takes around 15 mins walk while dragging on my luggage. And on the last day I need to dragged it uphill back to the train station. It was quite tiring especially during winter with rain and wind blowing. And to my shocked, there is no elevator so I need to climb 3 flight of stairs each day. The room is comfortable and hot water was sufficient. さらに表示

The Good: First of all, it was really cheap compared to pretty much everywhere else in Tokyo, so for budget travelers, it might be a good choice. However, that was at the special price offered on Agoda at the time I made the reservation, so I don't know if it's normally so cheap. The location was pretty good, at a short enough walk from the nearest station, Meguro, which conveniently connects to the Metro, Toei, and JR lines, and is a pretty short ride into the city center. There are also plenty of restaurants, convenience stores, and supermarkets nearby, some open 24 hours, in case you get hungry late at night. Additionally, the beds were pretty comfortable. The Bad: My biggest complaint is that there was no internet of any sort in the room. Luckily, you can get a decent wi-fi connection on the 1st or 2nd floors of the Atré 2 building next to Meguro station (the 2nd floor is warmer in the winter and has more benches). If you need internet after Atré closes at midnight, you can loiter inside one of the several Lawsons or other convenience stores around there. Second, there's nothing like a reception desk or any staff you can ask questions to, just someone to briefly meet you in front of the building on arrival (make sure you specify your arrival time) and a piece of paper with rules and instructions for staying there (I'm pretty they used Google Translate, but it's mostly understandable), so you better answer your own questions beforehand. On that same note, I imagine there's also nowhere to safely leave your luggage in the room or with the staff on your last day after you check out, but I'm not 100% sure. Next, the number and placement of outlets throughout the room isn't very convenient, especially if you like to use your phone from your bed while it's charging, but I guess this is a minor complaint. There's no mirror anywhere in the room or bathroom, which isn't too important to me, but if you're someone who cares about your appearance and like to get ready さらに表示

With no working wifi (was told to stand in 3rd floor stairwell to connect, which didn't even work), poor bed arrangement (you couldn't even sit up on the top of bottom, aka floor, bunk of the 3 tiers bunk bed), no chairs or tables, I couldn't stay after seeing the condition of the room. I paid in full and when asked if I could possibly get refunded for 4 of the 5 nights, I recieved no response at all. I expected more from this accommodation for the price. さらに表示
