室堂に直行する観光客が多いので弥陀ヶ原で一泊すると落ち着いた旅になる。ガイドの方の説明付き散策は植物の名前や土地の成り立ちなども分かり興味深い散策になる。ホテルの料理は味がとても良く山の中なに材料が新鮮。温泉ではないが、大浴場も大満足。富山市内の夜景が素晴らしい。 さらに表示

弥陀ヶ原を楽しむなら、ここ。室堂までのバス途中下車ですが、上へも下へもアクセスは良好。天候も上より安定しているようで、室堂方面がガスっていてもここは影響なく眺望は素晴らしかったです。夜は満天の星空も。 宿のサービスで地元の名ガイドさんの解説付き散策ツアーもあり。部屋、館内とも清潔、お食事も美味しかったです！ さらに表示

今まで泊まったホテルのなかで、窓からの景色が１番良い。宿泊料金は少し高いものの、スタッフの接客、料理、なによりも、大浴場からの景色にも感動し、満足度は高い。夜中、朝には、窓からの景色を眺めて過ごして、時間を忘れてしまうほどです。 さらに表示

Midagahara is the stop before or after the peak at Murodo, depending whether you are ascending Mt. Tateyama from Toyoma or Nagano. It has its own temperate vegetation, has an expansive view of the cloud above Toyoma, and in a clear night, one could even see the starry night. The hotel is lovely, and served a great Japanese dinner, with free-flow dessert - melon, cheese tarts and cherry. The dinning room has a great view of Toyoma, and the public bath was nice too. My mother loved the hotel and so did I. The dinner and breakfast was wonderful. The hotel is placed in a magical atmosphere. In the afternoon, there was a guided trekking tour. This was the best part of our stay. As amateur hikers, we would not have been able to explore the mountain near Midagahara without the hotel guide. I truly thank the hotel for providing my family with lovely memories. I would stay there again in the future. さらに表示

Hotel is located at one of the highland bus stops, so it was easy to get to. Amazing snow landscapes all around the hotel. A very fulfilling Japanese-style 9 course dinner and a simple western-Japanese breakfast buffet was provided. We were upgraded to a larger room due to fewer bookings, maybe just passed the peak season. Only activities available when we were there are the trekking event (which we missed) and slideshow presented in Japanese after dinner. Overall a great time as we dined in view of sunset and trekked to the Caldera Observation Deck. さらに表示

Midahagara hotel is open only limited months. Unfortunately the day we arrived ,was wet n cloudy. After checking into our roykan, we were mesmerized by the view from the window, when the clouds cleared . Thankful got to try n no regrets if u want peaceful accomodation. Service by front desk n restaurant staffs was excellent. Dinner n bfast was really nice n superseded our expectation. さらに表示

We could see the sunset from our room which was fantastic. The set dinner was thoroughly enjoyable. My mother said she had never had such a special vegetarian menu and enjoyed her meal greatly. We did not understand the explanation during the star watching but enjoyed being out in the cold. The guide sounded really knowledgeable. さらに表示

The hotel is in the Alpine route. The location is good, just 20 mins from Muroda by bus. It is surrounded by snow. The views from the restaurant, bed room, big bath room was excellent, overlooking at the snow and mountain. We saw the beautiful sun set while having dinner. The hotel provides walking tour at 4.15 pm, providing walking poles, snow shoes etc if needed. Though we did not understand what the guide said, we still enjoy the 1 hour walk, in which we can see beautiful view. After dinner, they provide star slide show at the lobby and lead us outside to look at the star. The sky was full of sky. Again, we did not understand his talk, we still enjoy it. さらに表示

One of best hotel I have ever stayed Situated in mountain allowing more time to enjoy the snow with less crowded environment. Can enjoy the sunset, possibly also the stars/ clouds. A bit old fashion because it was built more than 50years ago Excellent staffs and services. There is a free guided tour, slide show and star gazing tour ( in Japanese sure) . The dinner is just awesome compare with 3 largest hotel in Yateyama. the staff are nice and helpful. one time I missed a bus from the bus stop outside. the staff (seems like the manager) helped me to reserved the bus again. also asked the driver to drive in front of the hotel. which really makes me impress! only the bad thing about that night was the weather. it was cloudy so I cannot shoot some nice star picture. さらに表示

Our stay comes with Kaiseki dinner. If you have a big appetite, the portion will not be enough . One of the highlight of the dish is Beef Sukiyaki. To our disappointment, there were only 2 very thin slices of beef meat (as thin as paper) . Good to stay once for the experience if you have not stayed in Tateyama Alps before.. さらに表示

A good choice to stay one night at midway of alpine route. Hotel offers an outdoor walk through beautiful snow land which was awesome. Dinner was authentic Japanese food with nice view from the restaurant. The location is less crowded and serene compared with the main attraction at the Murodo. さらに表示

Totally lived this hotel. It is located at Midagahara which is a stop on the Tateyama Highland Bus route between Bijodaira and Murodo. The location @1,930m high means you are surrounded by an awesome view of mountains and of Toyama Bay on a clear day (or of the Toyama city lights at night). Regretfully it was cloudy that night so we did not gey a chance to go star-gazing, something which the hotel staff organize on clear evenings. The dinner here is excellent. We were served a full course meal with Yuzu wine and the absolute freshest sashimi from the local specialty firefly squids and white prawns. The sukiyaki, snapper, pasta and even the mini-buffet dessert of ohagi and cheesecakes were all beautifully prepared and delicious. Breakfast though of courae not comparable to the sumpruous dinner, was also very satisfying. They had the absolute hands down best and freshest croissants I've had in any buffet breakfast. I was too shy to try the bath though, so can't comment on that. :) We also missed the hotel-organized afternoon hike because we arrivwd a tad too late. (It ends at around 430 I think.) Yes, Midagahara Hotel is pricey. But given the location, the food, and the friendly and helpful staff, I find it well worth the money to spend the night here while travelling the Japanese Alpen route. さらに表示

Staffs are really good service. Breakfast and dinner was great. Super view. We played sled in front of the hotel . The hotel provide snow boots and sleds for free. We are really impressed in the front staff... He have a great service mind. Due to we forgot to return the room’s key of Hotel in Toyama the night before check in in Midagahara Hotel. He helped us to contact the Hotel in Toyama and try to solve our problems. Thank you very much for your kind. We recommend Midagahara Hotel for once memorial staying middle of snow mountain. This place are not clowned as Murodo. You can enjoy playing snow and relax in a good place , good view and great service. さらに表示

If you travel Tateyama Alpine Route and want to have enough time to walk around, highly recommend to stay a night in Madagahara. Good location and quiet in this hotel, not as busy as the hotel in Murodo. Also the hotel manager is very keen to introduce the areas around the hotel to the guests. They are very helpful. さらに表示
