This is a lovely little hotel ran by an elderly couple who spoke no English but has a little voice translator to help them communicate. The rooms are wonderful and the food is AMAZING. Highly recommended. Hotel is almost at the water edge. But the beach is not for swimming. さらに表示

Terrible and Horrible place. If you want to avoid the worst experience of Japan, don’t make the mistake of booking this terrible place. One more important thing, I'm sure that seafood that many people say is delicious might come from unexpected region like FUKUSIMA さらに表示

This hotel near sea side, their dinner are great (but also expensive). But they offer very very fresh seafood. (if U are seafood lover, you can try this one). Althought it is a bit expensive! Owner is very nice (althought English is so so). One thing is that there is no toilet / bath inside the room, they are common / share toilet / bath, we are lucky when we go, we are the only 1 customers. If in peak season, I can imagine it might be a concern to some people (need to wait). さらに表示

Easy to locate even without internet (Shakotan is out of our WiFi coverage area), luckily it’s easily spotted since it’s just by the main road. We got a room with full sea view and another with partial sea view. It is better to include dinner and breakfast as there are no restaurants available nearby, and they only prepare breakfast for those who prebooked. 30 mins from the breathtaking Cape Kamui. さらに表示

I have been going to Japan for four times and this one is my all time favourite. Everything is very good, far more than we expected. The staff was very nice. The house was very clean. The room was not that small and has a splendid view of Sea of Japan outside. The location was very quiet. We have a full fresh night there. The food was fantastic - very fresh and delicious. Dinner is recommended. One disadvantage is that you need a car to get there. If we have a chance, we will definitely visit Miharashisou again. さらに表示

It was such a nice living place with nice people. The meal was good and the sea view outside the room was perfect! Owner of the flat may not speak very well English but she has hired one foreign Chief and staff who are friends of her to look after the visitors. The rooms are clean and hygienic! I had my own room, my brother and sister in-law had their own, and my parents had their own. The views from the rooms are beautiful and the staff is unbelievably kind and attentive. It feels like you're staying in someone's home, rather than at a hotel. The rooms are simple and clean. I thought I may have trouble sleeping on the Japanese style pillows, but I woke up feeling great. The restaurant prices were quite expensive, and we had plans to eat at some places in town, so we didn't try any of the food... but it looked excellent and I would have liked to eat there if my group had been up for it. We drove along Shakotan Peninsula on 25 May, and this is one of the few guesthouses on the coast. We chose it because of the sea view and location which is easy to find. This is a family running guesthouse and all family staff are very friendly and helpful. We booked three sea view twin rooms from website, when we arrived the old lady showed us our rooms and she also allowed us to choose all available rooms. Finally we were given a huge family sea view room around 30 tatami for 4 persons and 1 standard sea view room for 2 persons. All rooms were very clean, comfortable, and had all basic facilities. Although bath room and toilet were shared, they were very clean and available on all floor. About the food, we didn't book the meal course in advance but the chef still tried his best to prepare it for us. When the dinner was ready the chef gave us a warmly welcome in the dinning room and explained about the dishes and told us how to taste the food. The chef is from Nepal and he had worked in different countries before, so besides fresh and life Japanese seafood cuisine he also prepared Italian, French, Curry fusion foods for our dinner and breakfast. We totally enjoyed out staying and will stay again when we have another chance to visit Shakotan Peninsula. さらに表示
