Very nice location, walking distance to interesting places to visit, very clean and they also provide free parking space for the hotel guest, bathroom like Onsen and very delicious traditional Japanese breakfast . Lovely place to stay. I stopped at Gujo Hachiman on my way through and I was so glad I did and equally glad I chose this ryokan. The rooms are traditional and spacious, with river on one side and castle and mountains on the other. It was beautiful going to sleep at night with the sound of the running river. When I checked in, the owner had my afternoon tea ready for me in the room - hot water for green tea and a rice cracker. In the basement is a Japanese style bath which also overlooks the river. All in all very relaxing and peaceful and a perfect location. I would definitely highly recommend, and hopefully be able to stay there again myself!! さらに表示

This was my second stay in Gujo Hachiman. Most any place in the area is probably going to be friendly, but the views over the river here were great. Room was fairly large. It wasn't particularly cheap, but you do get what you pay for. さらに表示
