最近よく融通の利かないホテルが多いですが、このホテルは大違い。 宿泊人数が少なかったため、特別に温泉を貸し切りにして頂いた。 ホテルはどのトイレもとても綺麗で、部屋の暖房の調子も良く、隙間風は一切ない。 ほかのホテルに比べると観光名所からは少しだけ離れていますが、自転車を借りることができるので安心。 観光名所は駐車料金が1日1000円のところが多いので、チェックアウト後も駐車場させていただけるのは助かる。 利用しなかったが、シャトルバスのようなのがあり、たぶん送迎可能。 さらに表示

The place looks really traditional, you get a yukata and there's a free tea machine. The hosts are really nice people, they picked me up from the station on the check in day and gave me a ride to the bus station on the check out day. Another great thing is that there are bikes that you can take for a ride for free. さらに表示

The reason we booked this hotel becoz they have hot spring inside the hotel and not very far to the main street, but still need to walk about 20mins. The place is nice...a bit old, but was ok. We go sight seeing everyday, not much time spent in the hotel. The owner is very nice, speak some english. さらに表示

It was overall a pleasant stay. I loved the public bath so much cuz I went in late and no one else was there. The room was tidy but the wall is really thin that you could hear almost every noise from the hall or the room next door. Other than that, nice stay and value for money. さらに表示

Overall was good, the hosts are very nice especially the older lady. The older guy drove us back to the station which is very nice service. Onsen are nice with the indoor and outdoor options, it's always quiet because it was low season and the location a little bit further from the city like 10-15 minute walk. It was close to morning market. The room was small and basic but that was enough for 2 of us. Mattress and pillow was hard, Japanese style. We did not have chance to taste the food here, but heard it was delicious. Another great thing is free bicycle and tea, coffee, water. さらに表示

When we arrived at Takayama Station, we called the ryokan and an elderly man came to pick us up on his van. He refused to take a tip from us the second time he fetched us back to the station. Although the staff couldn't speak much English at all, they are one of the kindest, most helpful and thoughtful ryokan staff we met on our 23 day trip to Japan. We were the only 2 travellers staying in their ryokan for the night, but they turned on all the lights, heater and onsen facilities for us to enjoy the whole time. The room is beautifully traditional and cosy, and there are vending machines and free drinks for us to use whenever we need. The ryokan is located near to the morning market, a beautiful river and the must-see merchant shops/houses from the past. I would definitely return to this ryokan the next time I visit Takayama. さらに表示

I have mixed feelings about this place. It was nice to stay in a traditional Japanese house and the shared bathroom was fine, with quite a nice hot bath pool that you could soak in. Everything was clean and the location is nice and quiet. Takayama is very small so although it's not in the centre that just means it's a couple of minutes pleasant walk, no big deal. Also they kindly pick you up and drop you at the station which is great. However considering the level of service when you're actually there (no breakfast, no room cleaning, you to get your own futon beds in/out, which is normal for a minshuku) I just felt that the price was a little steep. We stayed two nights and were the only guests not there as part of some big coach tour. The tour groups had breakfast and dinner at the minshuku, we weren't asked if we wanted to try it which again was fine because there were enough places to eat in Takayama but if I'd had my heart set on trying their food I might have been a little disappointed. So, it's totally fine but overpriced (typical of a lot of things in japan really). You might be better saving your money for a decent ryokan if you want a better Japanese experience. さらに表示

Located a bit away from the action in a residential neighborhood of Takayama, it's a bit of a walk to get downtown, but a pleasant morning walk to the market. We had two traditional Japanese rooms, but without the meal plan. So once we checked in and got oriented, we were pretty much on our own and did not see the staff unless we rang their bell. The best thing is the bath - an indoor rock pool with hot waterfall where several people could soak for as long as they wished. There was also a small outdoor wooden tub, but it was only large enough for one person at a time. さらに表示
